Who doesn't? It's language, it's going to vary by geography. I'm convinced the Brits say pronounce "valet" as "vallit" because they just don't want to say French words correctly.

They like to randomly change the pronunciation of commonly used terms to feel educated or some shite. Like Kiev to Kyiv or whatever. They’re a bunch of fricking nerds.
Iran was always properly pronounced Eron. I had never heard anyone pronounce Kiev as Keeve until a couple of years ago. Then the corporate media just decided to change it overnight.

Eye-ran has always been incorrect..
Just like Eye-rack.
i-rahn is probably just about right…

We can't complain here in Louisiana (4 syllables or 5) and especially in New Orleans (3 syllables or 4).

reminds me of those dumbasses who speak perfect english until they come to a spanish word and then lay on a thick fake spanish accent.

it's always been Eron... but since it looks like how we say I-ran, that's how we here in America have said it... but it's always been, in other places, pronounced E-ron

Funny how it’s never done with any other accent…
Like when you meet someone with the name Enzo, you never hear them say it with and Italian accent..

Media gets read in on how to brainwash the public in very subtle ways. Language manipulation is a tool of the CIA. Propaganda and Influence campaigns are just one of the many psy-op tools that have been used for years against foreign and domestic regimes.

When did Iran become Eron?
After this chapter, perhaps it should be "I ran."
