If I would have told you in the year 2000 that China will be approaching a position to challenge the US economically and militarily in less than 25 years you would have laughed then too.

Where exactly do you get this from? This is just wrong. wrong. wrong.

A simple google search for gold backed renminbi ( Yuan) will bring you up to date …. give it a try.

Let me ask you a simple question …. How do you think Russia has thumbed thier nose at US sanctions by selling Oil to China, India, Brazil and other BRIC nations?
Those nations pay for it in gold via the Shanghai Gold Exchange … using the gold backed renminbi (Chinese yuan). Surely you’re not suggesting they used the Petrodollar and the US Swift system … and that our government allowed this, right?

China is not in a position to challenge the US.

Have you ever been there? You go an hour outside of the major manufacturing sectors and its still the 19th century.

The only person you listed with any geopolitical intelligence, said China was going going to collapse a decade ago, but now has apparently done a 180.

On top of all of that, your argument is that the USD has to fall because of our debt problem. Guess what...China's debt problem is worse than ours.

Sounds like a good plan for the country. If we were as self sustainable as we could be, we wouldn’t be as susceptible to currency fluctuations and Forex problems.

I have seen almost 3 konths in china...much of it in a business capacity.

They have the patience to out-think us and fully believe they are doing exactly that.

However, I could write a thesis on why it won't happen. They are confused, disorganized, corrupt, inept...fill in 30 more descriptive words. Anyone who has done business there...especially outside of Shanghai or Beijing can relate.

It's a shitshow. I do business all over the planet. Chinese are a shitshow...and, yes, I was dealing directly with their government before covid

Self sustainability is your answer.

Stop relying on China to make you a t-shirt.

It doesn't matter whether it's .223 or 30.30, guns and ammo do not decrease in value.

When has anyone lost money selling a firearm or ammo?

This is the correct answer. If the USD is no longer the currency that everyone uses to trade (anytime soon) then it is hell on Earth.
