What's the bombshell report about the Women's Utah basketball team?

She said the incidents occurred Thursday night after the team arrived in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, for the games being played in Spokane, Washington. Without going into specifics, Roberts said the incidents were disturbing to the party and it sparked concerns about their safety.

From what I have found, a dude in a truck was revving his engine and yelling the N-word at the team as they walked down the sidewalk. That part of the country has had its share of allegations about white dudes behaving badly.
If all of it is true, I can see being bothered by it and it needs to be called out.
Calling it a "hate crime", though? Nope.
If being an a-hole was a crime, we would all be locked up by now.

There are some countries that are drastically restricting free speech. Like proposals that if you say 'Prime Minister Smith is a jackass' at your dinner party and one of the guests reports you to authorities for hate speech you can get jail time.

It should be called out, but I bet when something like this happens the "victims" are f'n celebrating because they know what it means for their "brand" and life on social media.
There is no better status in America today than "victim".

Which is why I preach to my family to say what they want and do not ever worry about the label because the label is used to suppress you from saying what you want. Each one of them also owns what is necessary to protect their inalienable rights!!
