They're going to try to lock us down again.

Canceled sports. Local and college.

I think when this shite starts jeopardizing Jaxtons chances of making varsity or getting a college scholarship then people will start to realize it’s going to start hurting them.

Hunger

But seriously...most people don't know what the hell is going on before it happens. I doubt this next push, if it happens, will go over well with most average Americans.
No one is going to listen to that crap again.

at all that up front money if the seasons go by the wayside and those college kids end up never playing a game. Do they have to give the money back for interviews if they never play a down?

There will be a lot of keyboard bravery, but nothing like a revolt. Anyone who does try it will be shut down quickly.

Biden and the Dems know this. They’ll take it all the way to the brink, but they won’t go thru with it.

People voluntarily shut down their business and lives before. Why wouldn’t they do it again? Tyrants never give freedom back. If they did, there would be no need for a Declaration of Independence

Neither did a lot of us here, but we all were forced to live in a world where everything was locked down. Most of us have friends or family that lost their businesses or jobs. All of us, regardless of our level of compliance with the stasi government’s decrees were affected negatively. Only a country full of pussies will allow this bullshite to repeat itself.

frick this gay world.

Nah. I don't see them shutting anything down. That ship has sailed.

Unless ... Herr Fauci and his Chinese buddies come up with a more deadly strain. Maybe the new Andromeda Strain. Sort of an airborne ebola. Which, I wouldn't put it past them.

But Delta won't shut us down. People won't comply. Mayor's won't comply.

Hope you're right. My boss told me he is hearing rumblings that Hidalgo is prepared to shut Houston down again "if need be."

People are done with this and are making their own risk based decisions.

Being honest I haven’t noticed even a slight change in life before or after. Everyone in my house has had the Rona and didn’t seem worthy of all this rigmarole.

It will be a lot easier for the government to control a few big corporations than it will be to control thousands of small businesses who are free thinkers.

Every day many people say no more. Every violent crime you read about in the paper, drug overdose, homeless person who refuses to work, disgruntled parasite is someone for whom society fails to meet their needs launching their own quiet rebellion against the system

People arent going to get violent and attack the government. It just isn't how they are, it isn't possible, and it isn't the right way to solve our problems. The quiet rebellions people instead resort to will result in supply disruptions, hyperinflation, and chaos.

Some day not so far from now, they will have endless $ but nothing to buy. They will wonder where all the folks who grew the food they eat, built their homes, policed their streets, maintained their electrical systems, and took their orders went...and they will ask themselves who is john galt
