What were some instances that you voted for the opposing party? What was your reasoning?

So if you’re a Republican, who’s a person you voted for that was a democrat.

I’ll admit that I’ve never voted for a Democrat.

I have voted for a 3rd party multiple times.

Unless the Democratic Party comes out and apologizes for the Kavanaugh clown show, I won’t ever vote for a Democrat.

I voted for Obama in 08. Regretted it for a long time, but actually seeing how McCain turned out I’m glad I did it. I vote for people who didn’t get captured.

Only in "nonpartisan" mayoral elections where none of the candidates running were affiliated with the Republican Party.

In a truly partisan election (excluding Sheriff, DA, Judge, etc.), I've never voted for the opposing party.

I mean, there is a guy (of the other party) I voted for DA, but would have supported his opponent in that race had they been running for the legislature, Congress or Governor.

But, that's a pretty rare situation.

When I lived in Texas during the 2008 race, I voted Hillary over Obama in the Primaries BC it was open and Rush suggested Operation Chaos to extend the Dems beating on each other. Other than that, I don’t think that I ever willingly voted D.

Only in local elections - I am totally fine spending more of my money locally, as long as the democrat is not too out there with SJW stuff.

The closest I got was side-hugging Heidi Heitkamp back in 2000...

Srsly though, I've talked with several over the years, including Bill Richardson...immediately after one of his human remains recovery trips, I asked about his interactions with JPAC...
Guy had no clue what JPAC was...at that point his trips to the DPRK were clearly not related to that...

And that was '07

Well, since you've been a member for almost 4 days why don't you answer your own question first?

Clinton vs Dole
Bob Dole was his turn candidate and Clinton had been my governor and life was good at the time.

My drill sergeants always said if they got pinned down under enemy fire, they'd exhaust every last round in their magazines save for one which would be used under their own chins. Never get taken alive.

I kept that with me when on my own tour of duty in the Afghan mountains.

I voted for a Dem for governor in the last race. The Republican (who ended up being elected) was absolutely clueless and still is.

He had some good ideas but was obviously lying about how to accomplish them. He's also a big cronie type

Very ashamed to say Obama the first time because of the Iraq War. That’s it.

Only once, in 2016. Florida ag commissioner. Was tired of the games they were playing with medical marijuana.
