When the word whiteness was invented.

The Missouri shite was the first eye opening moment for me. A total fraud of a situation with numerous lies and fakes in between.

Ruby Ridge was worse in my eyes - much worse, really.
I was never all that liberal, though I’m probably more liberal than most back here, but the Islamaphobia shite tossed whenever someone criticizes the creed and culture is eye-rolling. Except for communism, political Islam is probably the most anti-liberal scheme for organizing society devised since at least the Middle Ages, and there are hundreds of millions of people who live under various iterations of it all over the world - they aren’t some poor oppressed minority that needs your help and sympathy.
The Kavanaugh situation got to me as well. That was pure, cold, calculated payback for Garland, and the Democratic leadership did not one shite if they ruined a man’s life in the process.

Hell who am I kidding Ferguson riots.
With me I think it was the LA riots after the Rodney King episode.
Til that time, I had tried to find some kernel of legitimacy in the plight of black communities. I had been raised in the Jim Crow era and came to find out in my late teens that some really bad stuff was happening around the nation. I accepted the original Affirmative Action program as necessary steps to provide a chance for the underprivileged to better themselves.
I had really begun to suspect something was rotten in Denmark with the advent of Political Correctness some time before that.
But the pure animalistic excesses from those riots on up to present time made me give up on ever reaching a rational compromise. Every time conservatives tried, we got shafted and everything got even worse.
No more compromise - it only feeds their insanity.

I read The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged in 1991-92 time frame. Been a staunch Libertarian ever since.

This. Every time I hear some leftist progressive pseudo-intlectual utter this phrase I know I dealing with an idiot.

Mine goes way back.
The moment Reginald Denny took a brick to the face during the LA riots. If that name doesn’t ring a bell, there’s a reason why few remember it and no one talks about it. It’s been downhill ever since.

Trayvon Martin when the MSM only kept showing pictures of him as an innocent 12 year old but recent photos of him online painted a completely different picture.

When they stopped selling Little Black Sambo” in the children’s books section. I knew things were going to go to shite!

What was your woke breaking point? I guess I stopped tolerating them with the Mizzou fiasco.
Johnathan Butler and the shite swastika crapola was all prefabricated BS that was piggybacked off Ferguson. I remember telling people on the Mizzou forum that Pinkel screwed the football program for caving in to the SJW rich boy Johnathan Butler and the football team. The football team was threatening to boycott their remaining games and they bought that faux racist shite hook line and sinker. They all bought into the "hands up don't shoot" and it was only later we learned the truth that Michael Brown was the aggressor against a law enforcement officer. I haven't been on the Mizzou forum since that debacle.
