What was the Poli Board like a week out in 2016?

Like most, have spent most of my time on the poli board in the buildup to the election. There is a large amount of hype this election for Trump pulling it off, and I’m curious if this was the same sentiment in 2016.

if i recall...most were pulling for Trump but not many of us thought he had a chance. That was way back when we believed polling

i remember looking over at my then wife when they called Florida and saying "holy shite...he may actually win this thing."

Pretty similar actually. People here are slightly more confident since he’s already won once before

A lot of threads about Hilary corruption. Most of us for Trump were hopeful but I doubt most of us thought he was actually going to win. Lots of that but the night of the election was glorious.

Pretty much just NIH and me leading the charge.

Bi-polar cucks like HailHail and SirWinston thought Trump was done.

Cautiously optimistic.

Cucks kept saying this board was an echo chamber of Trump support and that Hillary would win bigly, lol

It was fricking fun. Election night was awesome. Next day was more awesome. There was so much MSM material to laugh at the next day it really was incredible.

Night of the election 2016 felt similar to LSU winning the natty, undefeated, with a Hiesman winner as our QB. Very surreal but those are the feelings that make this life so great.

I think there was optimism and everyone was rooting for the underdog.

For myself in 2016 I always believed a win was possible and realized when the FL numbers were coming in that it was real.

I really enjoyed the election night coverage and I'm looking forward to it again.

I've always known how corrupt and divisive our media has become but after 2016 it only solidified how misleading they can be.

That's exactly what I did! I was watching Miami-Dade and Broward come in, then realized the Panhandle had another hour and was like, oh boy, he's going to win Florida.

Yes! I didn’t get an ounce of work done the next day; I watched those glorious meltdown videos and enjoyed the reaction and commentary from here. That was such a good day.

I had zero expectation Trump would win, none, zero, nada. I had come to terms with it.

All I really remember was how solid the memes were. The first great meme war was one of my finest victories.

I just remember being appalled at the left ignoring the blatant cheating and corruption by Hillary and the DNC that was uncovered right before the election...so pretty much the same just substitute Biden in for Hillary
