The Arabs could have had a two state solution. They decided to go to war, they lost. And now your brethren have resorted to cowardly terrorism

Why don’t you do some reading yourself ? The history of a country can’t be explained on a forum.

Start here. Israel- wiki.

Lots of rocks and sand. Some shallow seas and a river or two.

This is a good thread and a good time to lay out actual facts:

-Palestine was ruled by the Ottoman Empire for centuries. Jews, Christians and Muslims all lived there as neighbors and practiced their religions without much conflict. The Jews that lived there, were actual religious Jews

-The Brits took over after WW1 and maintained a similar dynamic. There was an agreement in the works to make a Jewish state and many atheist, European Jews started moving there and buying land...creating tension

-In 1948 the UN officially created Israel...and war broke out immediately, which was won by the Israelis

-700k Palestinians were displaced and many Orthodox Jews also were displaced. There was a mass immigration of Jews from Europe and neighboring Arab countries(where they had previously lived peacefully)

Palestine transitioned from a place where Christians, Muslims, and Jews existed peacefully for centuries to a place where atheist Jews now ruled, pushing out people that had lived there for centuries. This created a dynamic where Muslims were angry and Christians were third class citizens.

What's more, at least 2 of the conspiracies in the King David Hotel bombing became Prime Minister of Israel.

I agree. This an excellent topic, and your historical input contains facts that are seldom mentioned and widely unknown. Another fact: Hitler’s party actually provided financial backing for German Jews to relocate to Palestine.

It was a cesspool under the Ottomans, who were defeated in WWI.

quote:

The 19th century saw the first signs of progress, with various Western powers jockeying for position, often through missionary activities. British, French and American scholars launched studies of biblical geography and archeology; Britain, France, Russia, Austria and the United States opened consulates in Jerusalem. Steamships began to ply regular routes between the Land and Europe; postal and telegraphic connections were installed; the first road was built connecting Jerusalem and Jaffa. The Land's rebirth as a crossroads for commerce of three continents was accelerated by the opening of the Suez Canal.

Consequently, the condition of the country's Jews slowly improved, and their numbers increased substantially. By mid-century, overcrowded conditions within the walled city of Jerusalem motivated the Jews to build the first neighborhood outside the walls (1860) and, in the next quarter century, to add seven more, forming the nucleus of the New City. By 1880, Jerusalem had an overall Jewish majority. Land for farming was purchased throughout the country; new rural settlements were set up; and the Hebrew language, long restricted to liturgy and literature, was revived. The stage was being set for the founding of the Zionist movement.

Some terrorists bombed a hotel and killed people, but plot twist, the terrorists weren’t Muslims.

No, that was perfectly okay because they called them first to tell them they were bombing the hotel. And we know this because they told us.

They also righteously slaughtered whole villages of people, like Deir Yassin.

Praise the Lord.

No one wanted it. It’s not mentioned on the Koran. The Jews take it and every Muslim claims it as the Holy Land. Now everyone wants it.

The British Empire set up Isreal as a middle east operation to gain a foothold and disrupt the region to protect their trade routes and use as an Intel hub.

They used Bolschevik Zionist militant terror cells from Europe to take over the area and set up the govmt and they have been running the nation ever since. That's why everyone in the region hates them so much (except Saudi Arabia and ISIS which were also set up by British and US Intel). It has nothing to do with their religion. It's because the country was founded by atheist communist revolutionaries... Just like the Bolscheviks who overthrew Russia 30 yrs prior.

Eveery single PM of Israel is a European and changed their names to sound more 'middle Eastern.'

These are just facts.

Israel was formed after they crossed the Jordan River by the miraculous Hand of God.

Your post was an excellent summary, except for this misstatement. I get your point, but there was violent conflict between Muslim and Jews under Ottoman rule.
