now working a side hustle isn't rare

sometimes you may find a teacher with expensive tastes who works 2

but 2 AND PLASMA DONATION?

She fails to mention the full pension she gets at 30 years. Can retire in mid 50s

Also gets about 15 weeks off a year

We don't get paid all that well. I really have no clue how teachers can afford to live in larger cities.

Must have to an Ivy League school and work in a high COL area like Manhattan.

Plus or minus out of control credit card debt or a drug habit.

I’d like an itemization if the expenses side of her financials to determine my level of sympathy.

I’ll take “Who is a single mother with three or more kids” for $1000, Alex

She must be horrible with money. Does she work the side jobs during the summer? That's not uncommon, if so.

Teachers making $100k+ is fairly common in NY.

She’s not from Missouri.

She’d make $50k-$75k depending on rural versus urban.

Another guess is she probably went to very expensive schools for both degrees and didn't bother working until after grad school

Highlighting individual pity stories is hilarious. Use the cover to highlight success stories, not these sad people

Financial decisions have repercussions not matter what profession you choose. No one is holding a gun to your head to get an education degree and be a teacher. Make a choice and live with it.

There is a 100% chance she screwed up somewhere along the way pretty big

I worked part time while I was putting myself through school at UNO trying to wrap up my degree a few years ago and managed to pay all my own bills in NOLA and that's with paying tuition up front and out of pocket.

THe sintble parent assumption wouldn’t necessarily be the cause. More likely a symptom

I suspect your student loan guess plays a big role here

Expensive masters degree only end up as some assistance art teacher or something.
