Congressional term limits

A clause that if the government enacts a form of income or wealth taxation, only those who net pay taxes are qualified to vote.

Congressional term limits is literally the only thing that both Republicans and Democrats can agree on. That’s one important reason why we’ll never see it.

Would this be a good time to remind folks that Article V of the Constitution of the United States says we don't need their permission to do a damned thing limiting the powers of the federal government?

single issue legislative bills - no more 'comprehensive' legislation.

remove the ability for a legislator to lie within the confines of the Congress. If they speak they must be liable for perjury.

1. Term Limits on members of the executive branch

2. Line Item Veto That allows The President to veto specific items in a bill while keeping the remainder. Any Line Item Vetoed could be overridden by a 2/3 vote in congress. ABSOLUTELY NOT. 2/3 of the reason we’re in this mess is bc the executive branch is legislating. This would permit Presidents to write laws.

3. Definition of a Man and Women. If you were born with a Schlong you're a dude and if you have a cooch you're a chick.Absolutely Not. This has nothing to do with the federal government

4. Babies of illegal immigrants born in the US are not US Citizens. Agree

— mine would be

1-Limitation of SCOTUS to 9

2-Requirement of Single Subject Spending Bills

3-Requirement of Balanced Budget

4-Limitation of Emergency Powers of Executive Branch to a specified maximum number of days.

5-Requirement that states demonstrate the reliability of any electoral count of any federal election

By striking portions of passed legislation? How so?

What that would prevent, however is shite getting shoved into omnibus spending bills in the hopes that no one would notice.

All investment accounts of congressional and executive members and aids are handled by the same bureaucrats who manage the thrift savings plan...

All of Pelosi's stocks now managed by the same people who manage our military's.

Nope.

Don’t work for the government.

And my opinion extends to every employee, from the janitor in Bunkie, LA, to the president.

None of them should be allowed to vote.

You want the security of a government job? You have to give up your voting rights to attain it.

By permitting the President to make substantive changes to laws by striking content.

ETA And your concern about shoving things into omnibus bills would be alleviated by balanced budget and single subject spending bills

It is less about term limits and more about who you work for.

Corporate toady (D or R) and you get the boot after 1st term

Work for citizens / taxpayers and you are in as you are able

What about Brittany Griner? We do have some US born folks that pop out of the womb with both.

#1 Elections at ANY level last no more than 3 months for a primary and 3 months for a general election.

#2 No corporate or dark money in any level election.

#3 No out of state money for a state or federal office. If you run for a seat inn Alabama, no money from outside of Alabama

Repeal 16 & 17. I’d also say 19, but the backlash would be staggering. Genie’s out of the bottle on that one.

Clarify/simplify the 2nd; remove the well-regulated militia clause.

Any agent of the government whether it be federal, state, or local is not considered a citizen when acting in the capacity of their job. They will be considered an extension of the government and subject to summary execution should they infringe on the rights of any citizen.
