The best you can do is live your own life to the fullest and enjoy every second you can with your loved ones. The world isn't so bad and we live in the greatest country and greatest time on earth when you put your phone down.
This is some what I have been trying to do for several years. It’s working for me.
In addition, just speaking for me, what needs to be fixed FOR ME can only be fixed BY ME. That requires introspection, humility, and actual work on self. Looking in the mirror has been painful but rewarding. I believe I am a better person than I used to be. Still flawed, but better.
That’s just what’s working for me. I have no desire or need to prescribe it for anyone else.

All I can say to the dudes planning to practice meditation and commune with Bambi in the woods during the collapse of our country, I’m glad my ancestors didn’t take this route in the 1700s. At least they gave us about 220 good years.
