Okay, let me start over. I think if Republican politicians would SAY they believe in abortion in certain cases, I think it would help them get more votes, because I think to Democrats abortion is a big issue, or at least they bring it up a lot. Therefore, Democrats are “better” at appealing to certain people than Republicans on that subject. IMHO

Wielding power.
All I want Republicans to do is to wield the legitimate power they do have, I am not asking them to do what the Dems do and wield power they don't have.

So the America First movement is the only political movement currently in existence that's trying to save the constitutional republic and the backbone of the US aka the middle class?
I 100% agree.

Generally Democrats are better on Federally protected lands and land management.
Republicans will sell anything for the right price. We need to keep our federally protected lands intact.
And I am referencing specifically habitats and natural environments, not questions on Oil/Drilling/Fracking (more complicated) or Climate Change.

Messaging and political cohesion.
Subverting their opposition's (GOP) institutional and societal strongholds via decades of planning and regulation.

Is it republicans that are selling off farmland and land around infrastructure and military installations to Chinese shell companies?

D: reproductive rights and I was going to say defense spending but they are war hawks now.

Republicans get wrecked on messaging and allow the enemy to create the definitions and the rules for the game.
Republicans not just pulling out a map of Europe showing the abortion laws in each country and not creating a plan that mirrors “progressive Europe’s” abortion laws is infuriating. Almost every country in Europe has more restrictive abortion laws than every state in America besides Texas. Mississippi has the same abortion laws as France.

Which is why I'm not a member of that party. That said, the ideology is superior to R and D which boils down to doing whatever it takes to get and maintain power. A small and limited government is the only correct way forward but the red and blue voters both only want to cut the things they don't like and maintain or grow everything else so it won't change. I've resigned to the fact that we're too stupid, lazy and comfortable to fix this so I'm preparing to watch it all burn.

1. Being complete authoratarian, conformist pricks.
2. Mastering the "winning isn't everything it is the only thing" philosophy in politics.
Fairly certain one and two are related.

demprogs are very good at subversion of American values, taking a wrecking ball to our economy and doing commie things.

The Democrats are significantly better at winning elections, and working together to get legislation passed.
Their idea of working together is the #1 and #2 Democrat in the House each taking one leg of another Democrat member of the House and dangling them off of the roof of the highest building in Washington D.C. and then having the #1 and #2 Democrat in the Senate do the same to another Democrat in the Senate. Wash, rinse repeat. They don't work together. They threaten the bejesus out of anyone in their party that doesn't conform with them.

I find it hard to believe so many on this board claim that on 100% of issues they are in the majority of the GOP tent.
It's all a matter of scale. A lot of Republican positions are comparable to running over your foot with a lawn mower while the Democrat positions are comparable to running over your neck with a lawn mower.

It used to be that the Democrats were better at representing labor- not anymore.
It used to be that the Republicans were better at managing the economy- not anymore.

but what they've lost in those aspects, they've gained in a different area, that area is voting for whatever their biggest donor needs them to pass to make more money.

Left is better at semantics whether it be redefining words to fit their narrative, being ambiguous when it’s beneficial, etc.
