Until I see every single man in the stadium on his feet, with his hand on his heart, AND HIS HAT OFF OF HIS frickING HEAD during the Anthem, I will give zero fricks about kneelers.

I have yet to go to a game and not see men sitting down with their hats on during the Anthem. Apparently these guys are more worried about hat-head than showing respect to the flag and the military.

After all, isn't that what our flag is all about, militarism?

Penalize the team (figure out a way to make it non off setting) or ejections from the game.

I’m perfectly fine if they don’t want to stand — stay in locker room and then ignore who stays in the locker room.

The owners need to grow a backbone and stop letting the glorified bloggers (media) dictate policy.

Yes, they would. I'm not saying they wouldn't.

Kneeling or staying in the locker room is a form of protest. Any protest is making a statement. It's impossible to protest without being criticized by those you protest against. I agree 100%.

The underlying philosophy of my point still holds: Someone who stands to say BLM is important to me, but will actively show respect to others and stand for the anthem shows more strength of character and dignity than someone who is willing to point a finger at others, then turn their back on them.

It takes a bigger man to respect those who he disagrees with while not backing down from his own opinions. And that bigger man, who shows compassion for those who he disagrees with, is more likely to earn the respect and attention of those he disagrees with.

The best thing would be for the media not to cover it. That’s best for the nfl and tv stations.

Ignore the NFL until people getting paid to play a game are not special anymore to command their high salaries.

Then they will realize their sole job is to entertain us.

Its 100% possible to protest something while not shitting on the national anthem, flag and everything it represents.

Their choice of how to protest is incredibly stupid.

) Have band run drum role with TV cameras on kneelers, crowd booing until the stand up. Start words to the song only after the stand up.

2) Have singer stand immediately in front of kneelers shaking their finger a the as they sing.

I know this will never happen. But maybe one of your snarky ideas will.

Maybe stop worrying about it and let them have their day. Usually letting people work things out on their own tends to heal the situation faster. Throwing everything you can at people kneeling in protest is only going to validate the protest and then make it rage on for much longer.

I know it's hard for a lot of you conservatives to understand but patience and understanding helps a lot of these situations to be healed more quickly

Every time a thread is posted on this board about secession, it is shitting on the flag and everything it represents. If you feel so strongly about it, start there - and with all the assholes who still refuse to take off their hats during the anthem.

Why single out the black dudes who disrespect what the flag stands for?

First offense : $25,000 per player contribution to the Donald J. Trump for President in 2020 fund.

Second offense: There would be no second offenses.

My proposal is that they have no problem taking white man's money. If they don't want to stand for the anthem, fire their asses.

It is important because it is continuing a false narrative that is based in a victim mentality which is more detrimental to the people whom it is supposedly for than it is beneficial.

The way to get them to stand is to not care about what any of them do.

Oh right because we are the ones who are emotional when conservatives and Republicans post this message on this board 2 to 3 times a day. Gtfo you hack.

You guys are so bent out of shape about this it's starting to get a little obsessive. Believe it or not those are emotions. Most of those emotions are anger and fear but you guys like to pretend like only the kind that make people happy are emotions. So incredibly emotionally bereft of maturity.

Are you these people's bosses? Then why does it matter to you what their contract says if you are not the boss of these people? Since you guys always throw your hands up and say you don't care about things then why is this one bothering you so bad?

You are confused. I watched the 9ers just two nights ago. I will watch them every game this season. This entire thing is silly. As is your Pavlovian response to trump. That’s what this is all about. Not cops. But trump. Your tds is worse than the NFLers.

Now. To solve the problem...don’t look to emotions like you fruity Dems like to do. Look to the contract. Simple.

If I'm an owner, I'm letting them do whatever the frick they want so I can sweep up all the stars who kneel, and get them on a contract for MY team.

You want to fire Leonard Fournette? Fine, I'll sign him.
