What is the worst thing that could happen if we pulled out of the ME??

The Ottoman Empire controlled the area for centuries. There were problems with Western Europe from time to time but none in the USA. I don't care if the region reorganizes.
Nobody would challenge the US with a nuke.
We can't depend on a single "ally" in the region. Even the Israelis will use our commitments to them to their advantage and to our determent. The Saudis are not really our friend. When the King of Jordan dies we can't count on them for anything.
The Russians have more risk than we do.

another reason the world would be better off if the Kaiser had won WWI.

Pretty soon, it would be very difficult for me to go to The Holy Land.

We have nothing to distract us from our problems at home.

The worst thing that can happen is that it would open the door for a terrorist state to develop relatively unfettered.

Worst that happens is Israel gets mad and we have to give them more welfare

I'll Keep that in mind.
For some of us, we would like to walk where Jesus walked. Keeping that path open, seems important. If it weren't for that little thing.....

Seems to be true today.
Why do you think we are disproportionally targeted it seems?

No more Americans killed by IEDs.
We save hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars. Which I would be a ok with getting ear marked for quality domestic spending.
Wait... you said bad. I got nothing.

Our enemies would organize and attack us like they did for 9/11.
When the US backs off the terrorists take a step forward. Soleimani was challenging Trump thinking he was trying to pullout and Trump pulled a 180 on his arse.

If we got rid of all the American Soldiers in the middle east, who would fight our wars there?

What enemies would we have if we pulled out of the ME???

Right imagine the money that could be invested into domestic oil and gas and other energy sources if it wasn’t wasted on the Middle East

That's already happened when we were over there. We topple regimes which in turn creates a power vacuum which gives rise to groups like ISIS.

The country primarily responsible for 9/11 is still considered good guys by our government
Let that sink in
