They won’t for long if they conduct a test.
I think doing a test would be the fastest way for the entire west do go from a “meh let Israel handle this” to “oh shite we have to get involved”.

If Iran hits Israel with a nuke, Israel will likely nuke every major city in Iran. Total war will break out in the Middle East.

I don't. Israel wasn't actively trying to prevent NoKo from achieving nuclear status for all those years, and NoKo is a much more isolationist and closed society than Iran is. And NoKo plays nice with Chini, so their options are greater. The entire Middle East is a shitshow of clans in perpetual genocide.

I thought it was common knowledge that Iran would use a nuke on Israel the second it had one. And thats the reason for going hard on them everytime they get close to getting one.

It wasn't because they wouldn't.
Everything Iran does is about holding on to the regime as long as possible and that would end immediately upon any catastrophic strike on Israel or the US, nuclear or otherwise.

I don't think your brain comprehends what a nuclear attack would be like, and what the consequences would be for any country that ever tries to do that ever again.
