Let’s assume the 30,000 number is true (it has not been verified in any material way), do you think cutting the power to 10s of millions in the wake of that makes things better for them?

I'm more interested in why the world didn't rise up and target Iran for crimes against humanity, after they slaughtered 10s of thousands of protesters. Instead, a lot of the world think the Iranian government are innocent victims and us and Israel are the villains for being mean to Iran.

Without a regime change, those 10s of thousands of dead protesters died for nothing.

Added. I don't agree with targeting any of the infrastructure. I'm in the camp of finding a group in Iran who are vehemently opposed to the Iranian government, and propping them up to overthrow that government. Israel and us can still target key members of their government and military, but keep most of the overall attack in the hands of the group we propped up.

We won’t be able to accomplish regime change away from the radical muzzies. We can kill a bunch but new ones will step in. Just the way it is.

As for the straight, you make them an offer they can’t refuse: Leave shipping alone or they’ll never export a drop of oil ever again. Believe me, they will cave.

I mean nothing says we're on your side to the good Iranian people than to make sure they don't have power or usable water

I don’t think any rational person looks at Iran’s regime as anything other than ruthless, murderous terrorists.

The same types of governments exists in China, across Africa, North Korea and other places.

The question is whether what we are doing is prudent?

We are not at war with Iran for humanitarian reasons. Anyone that thinks that is just not intelligent.

So, what is our objective and can we accomplish it with costing ourselves more than we gain in the process? That’s the question.

When the power goes out, those remaining in the regime will need to fear what lies in the night.

Civilians without food and clean water will get their pound of flesh. They will have nothing left to lose.

I personally saw what happens in a natural disaster just 24 hours without resources and none in the foreseeable future. Humans devolve QUICKLY.

Can’t say I’ve ever really seen folks actually pine for the days of your President making irregular, canned, vague statements at irregular speaking appearances, like it was before Trump. Is that some sort of self-injuring fetish, wanting the President be openly secretive and withhold all the most important shite, no insight whatsoever, most definitely nowhere near what you get right now? And all the while, said President thinks you’re too stupid to figure out what’s going on, so no worries anyway.

Yeah, if you’re for all that, Trump ain’t your guy.

what point are we committing war crimes, and are we the “good guys” anymore?

For all of our warts - career politicians who excel at saying the right things just to get reelected, professional parasites who have elevated siphoning off tax dollars to line their own pockets, an IC who has toppled more world governments for sport and profit - the list is seemingly endless - make sure you understand this one intrinsic fact:

There has NEVER been a global superpower with more reach, more firepower at their disposal and more raw capabilities to make the other guys' lives a living nightmare until we choose the time and place to snuff that meager light out that has used that power by and large for good like the United States of America has.

We're far from perfect, but no one else on the planet that would be gifted our same toolbox and skill set would be as magnanimous.

I doubt it. More than likely it’s a manipulation attempt on the current oil market.

Trump has always done this: use his position of power to verbally bully other people into getting what he wants without actually doing anything. When push comes to shove, he won’t do shite.

Every side has their own reasons, imo.

Israel wants to eliminate one of the main threats to them.

Trump wants to be able to say he freed the Iranian people. Love the guy but he is narcissistic.

MIC, idk why they want Iran overthrown. They've been angling to hit Iran for decades.

Israel and our MIC are pretty determined no matter what.

Trump. This is silly, I honestly believe if he got Greenland, he wouldn't have been on board with the Iran shite. Because obtaining Greenland would've satisfied his narcissism.

What is the next move? I presume that there are two objectives, opening the Straits and Regime change.

Airdrop M16s/M4s and ammo for civilians to perform their own regime change?

Iran will again threaten to bomb other countries water and power plants. They live mostly in areas with limited water; imagine the Saud's with no water.
Hell of a game of chicken.

Considering that I use the Bongino rule, I do not assume and freakout like a Panican until something actually happens

I highly suggest you do the same

I don’t disagree. I think my question of cost/benefit is around losing political power (losing Congress), literal cost of war (to include cost to our economy) and cost of life of our military personnel.

By his time in the FBI it seems his rule is to sit around and react to nothing.

If Dan Bonigno is giving advice, I think I’ll steer clear of it. He’s the biggest fraud walking and should be ashamed to be seen in public.
