She's in charge of the investigation.
She is one of the 3 ASACs in New Orleans field office. I'm guessing the SAC wasn't available to stand in front of the mic, she drew the short straw.

Nothing for those that have ever been part of a team that is focused on the mission.
It's called The Iron Law Of Bureaucracy
It's why good police officers never become Captain, why top notch soldiers rarely become Generals, why great Doctors never become head of Hospitals, why great engineers never become leaders in their field.
All of the great, skilled, people are dedicated to the mission. To fix, repair, kill, protect, cure/ heal. Those who do not posses these skills are directed to leadership because they "know of" what is happening at the ground level and feed that info to the people who have the money for them to make a financial decision.
So put a DEI person at the helm, don't let them frick up, have the people who want nothing more than to get to the bottom of the situation do their jobs.
