For some groups it means you have to go to work every day and give most of it back to the government. And you better make sure you obey every traffic law on the way to work and buy a sticker for your car every year or you’ll have to pay more and probably be late for work
For everyone else it means free shite for life and no laws
Unfortunately I detect no lies here and it's sad as frick

Can you go back to sarcastic posts? This one is too real.

It means the US govt. robs the shite out of me to the tune of 54% of my income, while others roll on freeloading without a care in the world

Is this a joke?
They live much better lives than the taxpayer
Imagine getting to do what you want all day every day then eating steak and crab legs every night
The hardest part of your day would be getting into the Escalade and going to the store
Being on welfare and food stamps is at least the equivalent of 300k a year but they don’t have to work a job for it

Significantly worse off in what way?

You'd have them suspend their nature?
It's a completely natural impulse to be repelled by this. What is the appropriate response of someone who contributes and benefits a non-contributor, and then receives the ire and ingratitude of the non-contributor in exchange?

It’s closer to $80k for a single mom of two.

There is an excellent podcast by RedpilledAmerica.com on what it means to be an American.
It is usually for subscribers but right it is free on iheartradio.com
IHeartradio.com- What is an American part 1
It’s a 7 part series so I don’t expect many to invest the time but if you are truly interested in the subject you will find it very illuminating.

Everything has gotten worse since 2016 but it would’ve been a lot worse with Hillary I’m sure

If you divide 80k by 0 hours worked it means they make infinity dollars an hour
I agree with you. Elon musk is rich but even he can’t afford to eat steak and lobster every night

You need to quit paying so much taxes. That's on you if you're paying 54% of your income. You're doing it wrong.

What percentage do you pay?

Both libs and conservatives have their version of victimhood.

About 15.5% and I make just a little under $200k. I take advantage of every possible tax break that I possibly can.

I haven’t been killed, robbed or raped yet by one if that’s what you mean. I haven’t OD’ed on illegal drugs some of them traffic in.
Others are not so lucky.

I certainly understand and respect your opinion, but I don't fully agree. It does still mean something to the majority of Americans. That's what got Trump elected. But Trump isn't a king. The burden is on we the people to vote for better congressional representation.
The state of this nation has been much improved since Trump took office, but sustaining that change requires us to elect folks that will stand for what we believe. IMHO
Unfortunately, I think the majority you mention is a very slim majority and it's likely not nearly enough to extinguish the rise of Democratic Socialism/Cultural Marxism.
