None. But I can look up data.
Why would you ever sell non grassfed beef if they cost less AND sell for higher?

RFK's ideals are progressivism in action.
Looks like most of the poliboard are now pushing progressive ideals.

All he’s going to do is implement what Europe does by banning certain chemicals and pesticides from products. You don’t really find them in Canada either. It’s not as complicated as you think.

If your point is “I work in the field, so therefore your opinion is invalid,” then you would be shocked at some of the debates that a few of us could end on this board.

The government nor corporations don’t have the rights to poison their citizens. Sorry, but no, and this is coming from a libertarian.

Hopefully make food stamps only cover healthy foods. No more cookies, chips, sodas, etc

It appears you want the government to tell you to put down those donuts.

You and every progressive are all for this. Are you willing to foot the tax bill to feed public school students and welfare families those healthy foods?

You’d run a shite load more AU if you were feeding. Yeah it’s cheaper to go grass fed and be resource limited. But when you remove the au/acre resource limitation and 10x your herd with the same opex it drives down per unit prices.
We also only do grass fed. But thats mostly a function of being lazy ranchers.

I don’t think anything as far as policy.
But I believe studies will not be funded by the companies that are regulated and people will have honest information to make a decision.

They were born in the wrong era. Woodrow Wilson could have used these warriors in the height of the progressive era.

I agree but there are millions of Americans that aren't on assistance that purchase these things and you cannot control what they purchase without drastic changes. If you're truly going to MAHA what do you do with the demand that these millions of Americans have for these products? People like cookies and chips. There are millions of jobs tied to the items up and down and throughout the supply chain. If you force change in the ingredients by banning some then prices will rise a bit, guaranteed and you may not like the end product as much as you do the existing version. Or you may just end up with product lines disappearing entirely and your choices have diminished.

quote:It's crazy how many ingredients this shite has turned into. At some point, it might be technically edible, but it is not "food".
the last time I came home from the middle east (dammam, ksa) I brought home a bag of haribo gummy bears from the airport
my son is into health and ingredients in food and he went to the local store and bought the same haribo gummy bears here
he compared the ingredients labels and nutritional info and it was stark how different they were. The gummy bears had different dyes, additives, preservatives etc
I wish I still had the labels, I would share the info but I dont. I will bring some back next time I go and compare
I even saw one the other day contrasting the Gatorade ingredient label from 1977 and now. It is night and day.
What's really weird is that you would think boomers would be the most "woke" when it came to caring what was in food, but evidently since they lived through the peak years of food turning into processed factory output, they have a weird blindspot. In fairness, they give a lot of the "well, I ate that when I was a kid and I'm still here". It's likely a poor argument to begin with given their health is so bad, but even so, you can do the same thing: compare McD's in 1965 to now. It's crazy.
