In comparison to before? What's the basis for this claim?

Given the resistance encountered from patients for the most mundane of things, I'm skeptical that they listened specifically to medical practitioners. If there was a change in the approach to diet mandated by government agencies, then obviously that is a different story.

Generally, it seems the best bread is the one that you make yourself from flour you choose. But generally, if the fortification process adds back in elements lost during the milling process, it seems okay to me.
