Did you get vaccinated?

Nope but I'm retired not taking orders from a boss saying if I don't get a shot I'm fired and you're smart enough to know that's what I am talking about.

Roger’s point couldn’t be more clear

He’s a pure libertarian that believes in the manufacturers of red 40, tartrazine, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. should have the ability to continue pouring their product into food without anyone stopping them, because they put it on the labels that no one reads

That's because she wasn't sincere. She quickly shifted from changing the food, to just exercise more. It was obvious that the food industry got to her and she flip flopped immediately.

It really should be criminal what the government has done to minorities as far as their food quality goes.

What in the heck does this mean? They don’t force anyone to eat anything in particular let alone minority groups specifically. Eat better if you want to eat better or don’t. The choices exist to eat well and live a healthy life. You don’t have to treat every meal like a buffet.

Not really.

But if you weed out the shitty people, youre left with a population who can self manage.

MAGA seems to prefer the status quo nanny state and welfare.

Getting the poisons out of food isn't some nanny state dystopia. It's returning things to how they should be.

His points are the definition of Malthusian. Where’s the hyperbole?

Take the poisons out. Repair the regulatory mechanism that allowed the poisons to be put in. Stop the incestuous relationship between government agencies and the industries they are supposed to be regulating.

A lot of the food in the US market is banned from import into Europe. They know. I think some of it is because the ingredients are toxic and some is because they don't meet nutritional standards there, like baby formula.
I keep bringing this example up.. the great baby formula shortage a couple of years ago. We were blocked from buying formula from the UK and having it shipped over because their labeling rules are different.. their fricking labels didn't meet our gov's standards. Then we find out baby formula made here is blocked from import there because it doesn't meet their nutritional standards.
Why the frick is that? Why does food made here have ingredients considered toxic in other countries?
How come if you get online and order meds from a pharmacy in India or Malaysia for 1/5 the price paid here WITH insurance, people freak out... IT'S NOT INSPECTED BY THE FDA! But those same factories produce the meds sold here in pharmacies and in pharmacies or over the counter all over the rest of the world. The only difference between meds sold there and the ones sold here is the price.
And really, IF there is a difference in how US market meds are made.. I'd prefer to buy the ones NOT intended for the US market. If they'll shite in our food then they'll shite in our meds too.

We spend billions of dollars on government agencies that are supposed to make sure our food and drugs are safe, yet we seem to have the least safe and least nutritious food in all of civilized society.

The food industry does? The same food industry that created HPF (hyper palatable food) designed to be addictive?

While I understand where you're coming from with education and freedom of choice. I believe that people have been lied to. It's hard to know what's true when scientists and doctors are paid off.

This is the issue right now with public trust. People don't know who to trust anymore.

Seems we will still have all our skittles, Lucky Charms, Doritos, etc, but I assume the ingredients will be more align like they are in Europe and not 100s of ingredients in them?

Still unhealthy foods, but far more healthy than the shite we're putting in our bodies when you remove the known preservatives and dyes that are neurotoxic, cardiotoxic and carcinogenic.

I couldn't care less what color my snack foods are even if it gives them a shorter shelf life. I just want to know my government hasn't made it permissible to poison me.
