Governments regulate businesses into monopolies.
After covid you’d have to be brain dead if you want the government running our entire healthcare.
And high speed rail is a liberal thing? It won’t work going straight across the country, but connecting closer population centers like they are doing in Florida.
If a high speed rail is put in the middle of the country, why would I drive all the way up from the gulf to use it?
The one for me is throwing people in jail for weed. It’s stupid and has been stupid. Just stop already. Speaking of monopolies, government in Louisiana has created a monopoly on medical marijuana. So there you go.

Fine with gay marriage and know that homosexuality isn't a choice.

Don’t really care about the gays but you choose to frick who you frick.
Also why is gen z the gayest generation if it’s not a choice? Where is this gay gene people are born with?

TF does that have to with who you're attracted too?

The vast majority of the LGBTQ spike in gen z is performative. You can claim to be bisexual, date heterosexually, and still get brownie points.
The small actual bump in actual homosexual numbers is due to wider acceptance. Ex friend of mine's brother almost got kicked out of their home when he "came out". Instances like that tend to make young teens and adults keep their mouths shut.

Same place the favorite color gene is, I suppose.

1. Give checks to people not bureaucracies, non-profits or corporations.
2. Limited government: provide for the common defense(secure border, Monroe Doctrine), promote the general welfare(less regulation, lower taxes), secure the blessing of liberty(amendments 1, 2, and 5.)

quote:Jesus what are you're conservative beliefs lol?
Mine
1. We need high speed rail across the country
2. Prioritize public transportation
3. Universal healthcare (with current budget we spend more per individual than any other country) still have options for private
4. Breaking up monopolies they hate conservatives anyway
We pay more for healthcare because we subsidize R&D for the entire world.
We research a medication for 20 years, develop it under patents, then random countries sell it to their folks for pennies.
Just like military spending.

You can find members of the same sex attractive and not have sex with them.

gave away the heart and soul of the nation's production by offshoring much our industry. People may not realize it, but a lot of the cultural rot is because we are not an industrious people anymore.
Unions are a cancer on this country.

As long as there are legal benefits to marriage, there needs to be some legal sanction.
Agreed, but don't call it marriage.
Religious people get all bent out of shape about the state sanctioning same-sex or plural marriages.
Fine - let each individual church define what a marriage is, and don't force them to perform any marriage that they find distasteful.
Likewise, the state should allow people to enter into civil union contracts.
Man / woman, man / man, woman / woman, or plural groups (for example, Mormon men who want multiple wives).
Binding contracts that specify inheritance, life or death decision making, etc.
I call it a libertarian (little L) position.

I have no non conservative beliefs

We spend more of our gbp on healthcare than any nation with universal healthcare.
That's because healthcare is currently rationed based on supply and demand and not by government fiat. We could reduce our overall expenditures on healthcare through a universal system but the result is going to be much less access and lower quality.

Mine:
1 - no intereest in high-speed rail, but we do need better public transportation. In particular, places like ATL needed limited-stop rail up and down I75 and I85 to reduce the traffic.
2 - support of public schools in places where they have not yet been destroyed
3 - some limits on weapons available to the public (e.g., anti-aircraft guns, surface to air missles, hand granades, automatic weapons)
4 - no step-up of basis for inherited properties and no taxes on transfer until all or part of the property is exchanged or sold.
5 - as long as we tax income, all income or profits from sales of goods should be taxed, including inherited liquid assets.

(1) I don't care about gay marriage. The government should not sanction or lend benefits for marriage and if they do, they should allow the gays access. They pay taxes too.
(2) Anti-death penalty. The American jury system is appallingly unreliable.
(3) We should implement moderate tariffs on foreign goods. Free trade is a great theory but falls apart when other nations subsidize production to undercut American manufacturing. There are also national security concerns when vital products are only produced overseas.

Elon Musk tried. Too much bureaucratic BS to get it done.

Most public transportation is bankrupt because they're corrupt. So, we should give them more money?

Abortion is a personal issue between you, your mate, your God, and your doctor.
I am against abortions for convenience, period, and there should be medical/rape exceptions.....mainly they are a private personal matter to me.
