Sounds like they wanted a pay raise & accepted the risks of their new line of endeavor. I have as much sympathy for them as I have for gangbangers flashing jewelry & franklins

Which one is legal to sell and which ones are not?
You're asking the wrong question. Legality in the US isn't determined by the substance, but rather who profits from its sale. Cocaine and fentanyl both have medicinal uses in the US, but they're only legal if a pharmaceutical company makes the profits. Antibiotics are illegal if you get them from a friend.
If you could go back in time to 1981, when Nancy Reagan implored Americans to just "Say no" to drugs, and invested in the pharmaceutical industry, your investment would outperform almost all other market sectors. Say no to drugs? How about say "YES!" to anti-depressants, opiates, ADHD meds, antibiotics, GLP-1s, etc...
We are over-medicated after that whole War on Drugs thing, ironically enough. And don't forget, pharmacists are drug dealers too.

Uhhhj, running drugs does indeed make you a narco terrorist.
I mean these guys also sometimes killed people for the cartel, but these were side jobs. They were down on their luck fishermen. Hardworking family men who only tortured and killed people for the cartel as their side job.
And the running of the drugs was peaceful. They're are no weapons on board. These were mostly peaceful narco terrorists...

So the people running the drugs weren't drug runners even though they were running the drugs, but they were working directly for the drug runners who are working directly for the Maduro crime syndicate.
Sad or not, this is deep inside FA/FO territory and I feel nothing.

Aside from the fact that it's the wrong place. Majority of the action is up the Pacific Coast and through C. America. This is a bullshite show. You could wipe out the Venezuelan "smugglers" and you make really no dent in the drugs coming into the US. They certainly are not affecting fentanyl smuggling. Steve and Mary on a weekender in Guadalajara are bringing in most of that.

Venezuela’s breathtaking northeastern coast
Oh its breathtaking all right, sail your happy arse there and see if you come out alive. Everyone is in the drug trade there.
You think Hedonism in Jamaica is wild, take your arse to the northeastern peninsula of Venezuela on the weekend. But you best know someone if you want to come back with your appendages intact.

I shoot baskets but I am not an NBA star
I tell jokes but I am not a comedian
I run one boat full of drugs and I am a criminal
I murder one person and I am a killer
I suck one dick and I am gay
Some barriers to entry are lower than others. Sometimes it only takes one experience to be initiated

Just poor fisherman trying to survive.

In dozens of interviews in villages on Venezuela’s breathtaking northeastern coast, from which some of the boats departed, residents and relatives told Garcia Cano the dead men had indeed been running drugs but were not narco-terrorists, as alleged by the Trump administration, or leaders of a cartel or gang.
Most of the nine men were crewing such craft for the first or second time, making at least $500 per trip, residents and relatives said.
If it's fent then I don't care the dollar amount they're making, frick 'em.

Why don't we regime change Mexico for opposing the war on narco terror (see the thread on this today) and being one of the worst countries for making fentanyl?
Whenever someone calls a drug runner for the cartel a narcoterrorist, you say it is only for propaganda. Yet, here you are calling the sinking of drug boats "regime change." You're engaging in the same activity you accuse others of doing.

And why your ilk lie without shame about Trump
quote:
The term was first coined by Peruvian president Fernando Belaúnde Terry in 1983, primarily in response to attacks by drug traffickers against law enforcement. A notorious figure associated with narcoterrorism is Pablo Escobar, the leader of the Medellín Cartel, who was responsible for numerous violent acts against the Colombian government, including assassinations and bombings.
There is few bigger terrorist groups than Iran. And they are VERY active in Venezuela
quote:
In June 2022, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro arrived in Iran for a two-day visit. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who has crafted his foreign policy around anti-US motifs, is investing in relations with Venezuela as Iran misses out on boosting relations with traditional Asian allies and lacks a roadmap for renewing ties with the West. During the visit, Iran and Venezuela signed a 20-year cooperation agreement, the details of which have not been made public.
Iran is shipping drugs thru Maduro, who then send part of the profits back to fund their terrorist activities, worldwide
Hence, Narcotics - Terrorism. Since 1983

Sounds like you got sand in your vagina.
As for me and mine, we are enjoying the hell out of seeing those ignorant bastards being blown to hell. They never knew what hit them.
Oh, and seeing a load of illegal drugs destroyed is pretty good too.
Maybe you should take a trip down there and see what washes up on the shore.
