Democrats probably eek out a narrow House majority (getting to 220-225 seats) while GOP maintains control of the Senate with 52 seats (Collins hangs on, Rogers beats El Sayed, and GOP keeps 2/3 from AK, OH, and TX). If we have to lose one of AK/OH/TX, hopefully it's OH as that one is up for re-election in 2028. A

My prediction?
1-A smaller, and more useless “Republican” majority, that doesn’t do anything but blame Trump and Trump just sides with them anyway and moves into obscurity as he wages a war against Iran that nobody GAF about or asked for. So everyone is more filled with impotent rage
2- A new socialist or 2 to spices up the Squad roster, and is even worse than the ones we already have.
3-AOC gets fat.
4-2028 gears up, and RDS takes advantage of being outside the federal govt to divide and conquer btwn the podcast bros and the GOPe. For some reason I think he gets the nom this time. I thought JDV was inevitable- but not so sure now

1) North Korea sucks.

PAIN...Trump lied about no new wars...Trump has been corrupt and in bed with billionaires. America is not first. He lied to us and we will make corrections where needed. Trump lost the plot. I'm not rich or retired. I feel the pain at the grocery store...at the pump...my utlitity and insurance bills. I live in a red state that the GOP has taken tens of millions from insurance and energy lobbyists. I'm a Libertarian. No more tech bros and corporate interests. If that means the pendulum swings...so be it. Trump is only for big business and billionaires. He forgot the little guy. It’s going to be ugly for Republicans. I think they’ll manage to hang on to the Senate for now. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter, because we’re a late stage empire and the cultural and financial ruin is going to be impossible to reverse.
No party is even willing to talk about the debt much less take it on, and both parties start foreign conflicts with no constitutional guardrails. It seemed that Trump might be the one to challenge the status quo, but it’s become apparent that he is part of the system.
