Thanks Trump. Now we have a new multimillionaire swamp creature for probably 24 years.
Well, at least she’s our swamp creature. It’s about time northeast Louisiana was represented.
She’s the first U.S. Senator from north of Alexandria since J. Bennett Johnson, Jr. she’ll be better than Landrieu, Vitter or Cassidy.

Doesn’t matter who wins
They are all crooks & not a single one of them gives a shite about tax payers

Vitter or Cassidy.

My bad, meant Landrieu. Damn auto correct. I would take the local dog catcher before Vitter or Cassidy.

Congratulations Senator Letlow!

Your example makes no sense. No retired federal employee uses Obamacare. Obama probably doesn’t have a co-pay.

You can’t accuse Louisiana voters of being dumb for voting for her without also thinking trump was dumb to endorse
So Trump had a choice of the guy who voted to impeach him, a soon to be octogenarian that might not even be alive next election, or a young candidate who has won all of her elections with >65% of the vote and will do WTF she is told to do.
You might want to sit this one out…

What power does he have over her? She's in now. He can't fire her from the Senate.
That's true. And of course he endorsed Cassidy and a few weeks later Cassidy was voting to impeach him. That was Cassidy thinking Trump was done.
I think she wants to have a long political career and will do what Trump wants to stay in his favor for now.

It’s after Trump that concerns me.

So you’re backing Jamie Davis?

I agree. I think Trump got played by endorsing Letlow. Just like he is being played by the Iranians. But he is "Trump" and Trump can never be wrong. He could never be talked into endorsing another swamp creature like Cassidy by some slimey Governer with a faux cajun accent.

South Louisiana baws always screwing up the elections. That’s how we got Jon Bel

And as per, the takers overwhelmingly pass taxes on property owners in EBR.

My concern with her isn’t the next 2, it’s the following 4.
I believe female republican senators have a tendency to always end up as fence sitters.
If you think Julia Letlow is going to stand up in the Senate and say we need strong immigration reform without amnesty, then you’re hitting the crack hard.
I can’t see that woman standing up for anything controversial. In fact, I bet dollars to donuts the first bill she sponsors is some type of “working mothers” legislation with Dems.

Based off of Cassidy is a douche. You voted for Cassidy in May?

The Fleming posters on the PT have been insufferable. I’m glad y'all lost.
Posted on 6/27/26 at 10:42 pm to Jake88
And Fleming would not become Cassidy 2.0
