I've lived in a Soviet city. We are getting close but we are not there yet. But we are surely trying to make it a commie country here.

Too many people think of "the poor" like its a race. Its not permanent.

People move in and (mostly) out of poverty all the time in the USA.

Like millions of other Americans, I've been pennyless and I'm currently fairly wealthy. Thats a rare occurance in a socialist country.

Secularization doesn't equal communist.

Except it has over history. It's a dumb as saying "true communism hasn't been tried yet".

Secular societies place humans as the authority on morality, and then morality can take on any form once in the hands of a power hungry human.

Humans have never been adequate as a replacement for moral law. Never, ever.

The main difference is we're not a peasant society. We're not subject to abject poverty. We do have a politically illiterate population. We do have many armed citizens that would resist, and most importantly, we do have a Military that will never turn on the population.

Japan is ~32% atheist compared to our 2-3%. Why aren't they Soviet Russia yet?

The US was founded on a secular government that left religion and religious freedom in the hands of the American people.

Interesting. I'm told we're moving further and further from Christianity and its values, yet the crime rates (theft, rape, murder) keep getting lower and lower.

EDIT: Hell, look at the cultures which birthed the Abrahamic religions and compare them to societies today.

promoting bad as good and good as bad

tearing down statues

Marines removing flags, military full on PC

Pentagon full on PC

CAIR ruling our military training manuals to not offend

saying terrorists just need a prayer rug and all is fine

a media that has it's progtard audience so brain-washed that they tear statues of cement down as if they are real human beings.

women scratching a SCOTUS steel dorr with their fingernails because muh right to kill babies.

demote and confuse science as a baby in womb not feeling pain and not being a 'life'

yet turtle freaking eggs are protected on beaches with six figure fines because they feel pain...

hire protesters to paint their pants with period blood for Kav's confirmation hearing

media being an arm of a communist political party

FBI and law institutions not trusted and politicized with no real recourse of justice to correct

Somewhat disagree with this. The National Guard would indeed coordinate with local, armed Militias - which will be de facto extensions of Local Civil LE - if anarchy were to prevail, for whatever reason. There will be heathen gangs who go rogue, and will have to be stomped down by force of arms, if (when) they move on civil populations. The NG will risk getting in between these two opposing forces, lest they coordinate strategy.

This is a virtual fait accompli, if Government is unable to deliver basic goods and services to Urban populations. Urban, and sociopathic populations who think nothing of murdering each other on a full belly...with guarantees of medical treatment if they are wounded in the process. Just imagine an overstretching of available resources.

I'm afraid that calamitous scenarios will do what an organized and civil society (I.e., Government) can and would never do...thin the Herd of dysfunctional and societally-pernicious individuals and culture.

I know. I didn't create this scenario...just commenting on likely outcomes.

Humanity moving up...the only we ever have. Painful process. Ugly...to Beautiful. "Sewn in corruption...raised incorruptible". Loving folk will get there.

That is the “killing of the patient” about which I am speaking. The US is founded on two key concepts: one is the free interchange of ideas, and the other is the adherence of the populace to the principles on which the country was founded, which are general distrust of centralized government and a high regard for individual freedom. Once we knock over either of those supports, the structure will collapse and inevitably be replaced by another, different structure which will likely have little interest in any of the above ideals. A nation founded on the concept of eradicating communist thought is no different in principle than a communist nation devoted to stamping out dissidents. I’m not a big FDR fan, but he cut right to the root of the American problem when he said “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Freedom is an inherently scary thing because some people are bound to misuse it. That’s the weapon the Left uses to progressively erode your freedom - “Some people will misuse their freedom, so the answer is no one should be free.” The answer to our problems is not outlawing our opponents. The answer is establishing an education system that teaches people to respect the foundational principles of this country and how they have served to make our nation great. I firmly believe that the KGB placed a high emphasis on gradually taking over education in this country and using it to teach people that the US system is a failed one and that they should instead respect the foundational principles of socialism, which are fairness instead of justice, amorality instead of morality, collectivism instead of individualism, and protection from fear instead of respect of personal liberty. Hence where we as a nation are today.

We say this like mass murder is a uniquely communist thing.

People rationalize murder in lots of different ways.

Also people should google the Diggers who were a movement in the English Civil War that were basically Christian based communists.

Also separation of church and state has been a main tenant of American culture forever
