Watching a D Day anniversary show on NewsMax this morning......it's hard to watch.

It's hard for two reasons.

1) Just listening to the first hand accounts of the men who came on shore at Omaha beach on June 6, 1944 is gut wrenching. Watching the priests bless the loaded landing crafts of young men/boys. These brave and terrified souls understood many were not surviving the initial wave of the landing.....and you think about those who did survive the initial landing, maybe some were wondering, those who had died quickly were better off.

2) It's hard watching this D Day special knowing the cultural Marxists have hijacked the month of June to celebrate Pride and Juneteenth rather than highlighting the historical significance of this day in US history. I can almost guarantee if you flip on your local news it's more likely you'll see some report on Pride or Juneteenth rather than D Day.

History Channel seems to have no recollection of what June 6 signifies.

My dad was first wave Omaha Beach. He was a captain in the Medical Corps.
The stories he used to tell were mind boggling.

I’m glad he’s not alive today to see what some ‘people’ have done to this country.

I doubt if there are very many vets let alone surviving WWII vets that would claim they put there asses on the line for cultural Marxism and identity politics.

Huge sacrifices made just so Hank and his ilk could do story time with other people's kids.

They were fighting fascism and ultimately communism (Korea/Vietnam). They weren’t fighting for rainbow flags, universal income benefit, open borders communism and transgenderism.

Because the people growing up and becoming producers and executives of these shows grew up in marxist education systems and households, and loathe what we have done.

"We may have been fighting the wrong enemy all along. But while we're here, we should go after the bastards now, 'cause we're gonna have to fight 'em eventually."
Gen Patton

"We have destroyed what could have been a good race of people [Germans] and we are about to replace them with mongolian savages and all of Europe with communism”
Gen.Patton.

My step dad was second wave at Normandy. Didn’t talk about it much but that’s the reason he never believed in a loving God.

He always said he hit the beach as an E-2 and by Germany was an E-8. Not because he was a great soldier but everyone kept getting killed.

I’d like to see a survey of American citizens who would be willing to fight and die for their country. I’d bet the number is disgustingly low, especially in the 18-24 demographic.
