Well we don’t have kilometers here so we’ll be just fine.

Shooting accurately at that range would take a shite ton of training and knowledge of so many factors

There has been development of a 14.9 SOP rifle by a private company. The armed services are looking at it. About 70k for the rifle. Supposedly still super sonic after 3 miles. The cartridge makes the 50 look like a Chapstick dispenser.

Funny thing about rifles ...the bullets go straight and not around corners or over trees, bushes ....

7km...

That's like standing on the Miss River bridge and hitting a target at the I10/I12 split.

Anyone ever seen Wanted?

The trick on such a long distance shot appears to be using mooks to push them towards a giant X on the ground that you have already sighted in as your target.

Propaganda.

Can’t hit shite that far away with the Mk 1 eyeball, Mk 1 wet finger wind calculator, and Mk 1 brain ballistic computer.

Russia cant even launch a plane off an aircraft carrier, literally losing it in a boating accident

I look forward to seeing the tacticool crowd putting these to use at the 100 yard range of my gun club.

Russia are no longer commies. They haven't been since 1991.

I expect to see them at The CMP range by the fall, with their custom shooting bag and matching clothes, and a whole group of the same ones standing around for half a day, spouting their hard studied knowledge about all things shooting related. Then not a single 1 of them can shoot a group of less than 2 inches.

As pictured, a guy would be hard pressed to hit a car at 300 yards.

Those are for confirmed kills btw not just hitting a target.

This... hitting stationary targets at that range and an actual man at that range are two different things...

That takes all the honor out of warfare. Back in my day we didn’t shy away from contact , we weren’t pussies-and we used maces, swords, spears and lances as the King decreed.

Unless they have our targeting system, the distance is meaningless. you can't account for the rotation of the Earth without a micro processor feeding data to the optics at that distance.

Yeah, I think the only way it can work, would be a computer aimed deal. The Russians are the types though that would want to promote the idea, that they have some super-human types who can make such a shot.

OK Tony Montana. You have been dealing too much coke. Kilos=weight (or mass). Kilometers (or clicks) is distance.

Can I borrow your yacht this weekend?
