Capitalism in USA has yielded more in prison than any other country.
Capitalism in Venezuela yielded half the country poor as church mice.
Focus on bill gates. Top of pyramid.
Most people live paycheck to paycheck.

How do you go about challenging this goofy shite. Lord have freaking mercy. The jackass owner of the Post could write a check for Venezuela and get back change. Something to think about for the folks at the Post: get Bezos to buy most any smaller country in S. America and turn that thing into a socialist heaven. And take all the dems in America with him who dream of socialism. He'd be broke in 24 mos and back in the good ole USA peddling his crap again.

One of the nation's leading mainstream rags putting an article like this out. What a time to be alive.

Liberals must look at America through some kind of fricking circus glasses because here's reality.

REALITY is that by world standards of poverty, you couldn't populate a fricking Quad A high school with the total number of people in actual poverty in the US.

People in our projects live lives that at least 4 Billion people on the planet cannot even conceive of even HOPING for their children to live.

By ANY fricking measure, the US has removed so much human suffering from its citizens that its citizens that historically speaking, ever last soul in America is living lives of absolute luxury.

The left is the perfect proof that humans can NEVER be satisfied and that envy is probably the single greatest vice humans possess.

Zero to do with capitalism and everything to do with a huge chunk of our population being anti-social and immoral, which is a result of leftist social policy that discourages two parent, stable family formation.

Why is that? That is a choice most people make. The lifestyle that it breeds is a result of choosing to buy an iPhone 10 in favor of starting an IRA.

Capitalism requires that you obey the law.

Talk about causation and correlation.

Somalia is the least incarcerated country. So fricking what?

And Socialism yielded 99% of the country the same.

Not to mention calling what they had before "Capitalism" is disingenuous at best.

This is the most intellectually weak and shallow argument against Capitalism. Those same "paycheck to paycheck" people have 2,000 square foot homes, cell phones, a car, multiple TV's, etc.

Being "poor" under capitalism means you live in the 1% worldwide. Being poor under Socialism means you starve to death.

You can choose if you'd like.

Socialism and the governments that support it have killed more people than any other ideology.

MYTH NO. 3
All socialists want to abolish markets and private property.

Communists, when in power, have done away with markets and private property. Democratic socialists say that in principle they hope capitalism will disappear over the long run, but in the meantime they advocate piecemeal changes in the ownership and control of economic resources — bank nationalization, for instance.

So, how is this a defense for the "Myth"?

This. People need to get out and travel the world. I went to India...…. And witnessed extreme poverty on a massive scale. Shockingly, there are worse places than India.

I mean forget about the obvious corruption and whatnot, but are you seriously trying to argue 1960's, 70's, 80's, etc, Argentina versus today Argentina?
