I actually agree with this.

the irony of using birthirism is that it wasn't even a creation of the conservative arena

it was manufacture by HRC's campaign to hurt Obama. she just ran into a media apparatus at the time that wasn't fully committed to HRC

HRC wanted the "full court press" and there was resistance, so it stayed in the shadows, until Obama was elected and right wing whackos got ahold of it

No offense, but multiple posts laughing at this guy and treating him like an idiot probably is going to disincline him to engage with you .

Meh.

He already doesn't want to provide an example of his claim.

I could kiss his arse for the next 10 pages and that ain't gonna change.

True.

No otherwise intelligent person could possibly see that video and conclude it was anything but humor.

They basically have played the "let's pretend we can't understand English" game for 2 years

Obama couldn’t take a shite in the morning without conservative media turning it in to some fake news conspiracy bullshite to fear monger the right.

It happened every single day and I gave you a website that catalogued it. But why would I want to spend 30 minutes curating 2 or 3 really good examples when I know y’all are going to find some kind of mental gymnastics to excuse it away?

Look Limey,

You are complaining about us deplorable who bitched and moaned about the things Obama got away with right under the noses of the MSM.

What is different is that during the Obama administration the entire MSM -with the exception of FNC - were devoted to the defense of BHO. NOTHING he did was examined critically. And when he did step on his dick so publicly they had to address it, they immediately made excuses for 'what he probably meant' - and swallowed any cleanup the BHO spokesman rolled out. Then they would berate anyone who challenged the bullshite explanation.

The MSM today is teh exact opposite, they go dumpster diving to find ANYTHING that can be interpreted in a way to harm Trump. There has NEVER been such a hostility toward a public official from the MSM in my lifetime, nor in any historical era I know of. There is not ONE instance of their failing to take the most asinine interpretations possible and run with it non-stop until the next invention emerges.

If you want to maintain any vestige of balance or logic, you have to agree that the MSM is in the tank for any prog/DEM ideological tenet and work day and night to advance it.

I believe FNC is similarly (but not equally) aligned with the conservative point of view. I take that into account on any 'breaking news' story they go with. I do not know of any instance of their purposely 'misinterpreting' the obvious facts of an event to the extent that the rest of the MSM does on a daily basis.

This is the truth. Hillary's team started the whole birther movement. It was probably Bill himself who suggested it , right after his now infamous "a few years ago that boy would have been serving us coffee" comment.

And now you know why I talk to DC in this thread as I do.

It isn't because I think he's an idiot. It's precisely because I know he is not.

Honestly, it would be better if I just thought he was a moron. At least then I wouldn't see him for what he really is.

What Media outlet pushed the 'birther' movement. I watch FNC quite a bit, and I don't recall their 'using' it.

Are you again referring to message boards where anonymous doofuses can spew out nonsense and wisdom with equal abandon?

They were pretty dishonest about Charlottesville too. And still get away with the dishonesty. People who watched events in real time know that The President was talking about people who were there BEFORE the buses started rolling in for the theatrical performance that resulted in tragedy. I guess he should have known better, but it's still disgusting and dishonest.

a good example is this stupidity

but how much mainstream conservative press did this get?

i did a google search for "obama shadaha fox news" and didn't see any articles (there may be some, but i didn't do an academic scouring)

however, the leftist DEM-coordinated media has their own stupidity that HAS made wapo, cnn, et al

Newsweek

AOL

hell it's led to various anti-left outlets literally trolling the leftist media with an influx of symbols. that's why they've gained so much traction in the culture wars

Well now - I forgot about that. I early on would turn away from FNC when Trump came on. I never liked that man - and was never interested in anything he had to say.

Perhaps I should have paid more attention to him and maybe I would not have been so opposed to him during the early primary season.

I did a little research on the birth certificate and it appears to me to be a fake - especially considering all the effort BHO took in not releasing it. I had assumed he didnt was to reveal it because it might say "father unknown" or "father muslim" or something like that.

What was released had no information that should have warranted such an unprecedented effort to conceal it.

I eventually decided BHO wanted to create a ruckus and release it to capitalize on the 'birther idiocy.'

It still looks fake to me.
