Considering the recent return of stranded NASA astronauts thanks to SpaceX, this 11-minute low-orbit ‘mission’ by Blue Origin feels more like a publicity stunt than a serious space endeavor.

Why did someone open the hatch from the inside causing a Bezos observer on the ground to immediately push it shut. Then Bezos came with the secret key to "unlock" it from the outside.

It was pretty funny how one of the bimbos opened the door from the inside--a woman ran over to shut it real quick. Then Bezos walks up with his fake door opener tool for the cameras.

In a world where the left demands eQuALiTy for the sexes, an obvious publicity stunt like the Blue Origin nonsense shouldn't even merit attention. Plenty of women have been to space.

the original design of the apollo capsule opened inward the rational being that that the internal pressure would reinforce the closure of the doors like on an aircraft. then the apollo 1 fire happened and the design was changed.
no need for pressurized suits shuttle astronauts didn't wear them for liftoffs only for EVA's
as for blue origin it's a gimmick, a parlor trick they've achieved orbit once all the other mission have been going up to 100km at a velocity of 2000 mph and parachuting back to earth alan sheppard did that in 1961. thus they call the space craft the sheppard. they've had 11 missions with one orbital mission compared to 450 for space X they've never launched a satellite.
