It's almost like nature heals itself if we let it.

No hunting rights, I suppose. Must save those dandies for the royal's and their troglodyte offspring to hunt.

A reintroduction of the animals could help stimulate the growth of native woodland by hunting red deer, which consume tree saplings and bark from older trees.

Or you could just introduce some good ol' baws with a .30-06.

Or, just hunt the deer and harvest whatever the required number is.

Why not just extend deer season? Make more people happy.

Why the lefties comeendered the phrase and connected it to their global warming. You deny CC you look like a fool. Though they are talking about man made CC and reasonable people are talking about mother-nature CC. Cause confusion for the young, and gullible.

What is that, like $33M or something?

I'll take care of those frickers for half that if they pay to fly all that meat home for me.

If we’d release the wolves on the Democrats and globalists we’d also solve the problem

Here's my take:
These scientists or grants they received are tied to wolves, the study of wolves, etc.
So, more wolves=more study=more money.

I do not know.

They probably wanted to study wolves and could get no funding so they tied it to climate change and the grant came in.

If you look at grant apps from most govt agencies they will tell you preference is given to the big three : lgbtqu, climate change, or black/women issues.

Speaking of dumbasses........

quote:

In 2023, wolves killed 96 elk, 33 bison, and three moose.

In the summer, 10,000–20,000 elk spend time in Yellowstone.

Now dont you look foolish.

Exactly

Seems like there are several more efficient ideas out there to remedy this problem.

How about issuing hunting licenses to hunt these deer and use the meat to stock food pantries and homeless shelters, as well as lower the consumption of beef amongst the population? You know, instead of releasing mass amounts of predators that won't just kill the deer you're after

Just let
TheDrunkenTigah
Clames
Downshift&FloorIt
Rize

all take their friends to the Highlands and you won't have to introduce an apex predator.

They can start a case study on .308 vs 6.5C. Settle it once and for all while eliminating a climate threat (as desribed by authors)

The study showed that a total population of 167 wolves across Cairngorms, South-west Highlands, Central Highlands and North-west Highlands would be enough

“Say, McKintosh, lets tell them we need 200 wolves to do the job.”

“That sounds a bit contrived, McConnell. And it sounds like it’s too many.”

“Okay, how about 150 wolves then?”

“Sounds better, but it shouldn’t be an even number.”

“Of course. Then let’s go with 165.”

“If we tell them 167 wolves it sounds like we used a real complicated formula to arrive at the number.”

“Aye, 167 it is!”
