This works for me because I love the target near my house. It’s a super target but I have not stepped foot inside of the store in over a year

Personal opinion based upon what I've found to be sound logic:
If all I truly want is to be "accepted by a society that rejects me", the absolute last thing I would do would be to take a fascist and aggressive approach to force my views upon everyone else.

I used to think this. But the book I'm reading on Woke explains why companies do this crap. It's to build a portfolio of evidence used in the dozens of lawsuits they face every year based on interpretations of the Civil Rights act. They have to cover racial discrimination, sexual discrimination against women and now trans discrimination.
The intent of these original federal laws from the 60s and 70s have been expanded by federal bureaus and left wing judges.
