but if she opposes Trump
Letlow is entitled. She didn't even bother to campaign and she won't bother to do anything of significance. She will collect her government check like the rest of them and make some backdoor deals and stock trades to enrich her family.
More of the same. Congrats, Louisiana

Your right but still working people especially with kids to run around every where have a lot less time to vote.
Advantage for democraps.

Jamie Davis pretty much capped out what a Democrat is going to get in Louisiana.
Pretty much. Democrats were a lot more motivated - especially because of the redistricting. Meanwhile, the Republicans were looking for ways not to go out and vote.

It was actually much higher than turnout for our last governor election and higher than the last midterm election.
Federal elections will always bring out more voters. Our governor elections are during odd numbered years, not exactly the best for turnout. Them not being synchronized results in apathy and people just straight up not paying attention or forgetting.
Also our runoff system is a bit weird. Hard enough to get people motivated to vote once let alone twice.
Pretty much how Landry won with minimal participation.

Letlow nearly losing amplifies just how weak of a candidate she was and how the general population wanted nothing to do with republicans or trump.
Democrats are likely kicking themselves in the rear for not putting any money into the Louisiana senate race. Hindsight, letlow was a flawed candidate that just won her election because she faced no organized opposition or financial backing from the democrats.
It I’ll take her any day over a democrat, even is she is a purple senator cloaked in republican speech.

Trump wasn't on the ballot.
But the gop is going to do great without him.

Julia Letlow will support Israeli supremacist policies, which is the reason she was the candidate in the first place.
