McCarthy was underwhelming to say the least.
How do you feel about this? Hopeful? Excited? Or without much hope for anything good to come out of it ala Mccarthys installment to begin with

He's definitely not their friend. He didn't have to go crawling back to Trump after J6 or pursue Biden impeachment. They have no love for him.

So does a former speaker who gets removed by a motion to vacate have to take the smallest office? I think that's the precedent that needs to be set.

Because their constituents would crucify whoever didn't vote to remove a Republican from the Speaker role.

I don’t understand the democrats thinking. Why not vote to keep McCarthy and think make him beholden to you? Or at least have to work with you.
