Yep. The democrats aren't afraid of purity demands.

Your argument would make sense if the party voted to oust him. They didn't. The Democrats did.
It isn't an argument. He was ousted. He has been mortally wounded. McCarthy would have to outstrip even your intentional level of tone deafness on this issue to try his hand at winning the gavel in round 2.

It's the voters. Other than being anti-Democratic, just think about how difficult it is to unite a rural manual laborer with Midwestern males on disability in dying cities to educated, with wealthy professionals and business owners living in urban areas and suburbs of urban areas.
During GWB the split was largely social-religious, but now the economic divide is really distancing the tents from each other. I don't know how top-down management can fix that and get these people to identify with each other (other than not being a Democrat)

By the Democrats. Not the Republicans. The Republicans supported KM by a super majority (and then some).
KM still has support of 95%+ of the party.

OK you can have Mccarthy as next speaker. I've got the field. Let's see who's right.

We all know you're a Democrat.
Time for people to actually stand up for what you believe and forget the cocktail parties. Gaetz didnt care- he never got laid at them anyway.
I hope it all burns down. Republicans are too independent to band together like Dems. Just how it is. Goodluck getting them to all swim the same way.
Our strength is our greatest weakness.

Just don’t ban bet him. If he loses, they’ll have to take away his belt, shoelaces and razor blades.

No need to bet stakes on it. He's using his trollolololo lines to try and get a reaction. My response is to get him back into reality some. You'd only continue to argue the point he is arguing if you are just lashing out as a troll because you completely misread the situation or you think McCarthy will win the gavel back. Let's see which it is.

What are the odds I'm getting? I'll put down a hundred bucks if that will agree to hold it if I get the right odds

You just said he's the favorite with a supermajority of support from the party in power and no one wants the job.
When actually pressed if you really believe that nonsense, you reveal that you don't by asking for odds.
Mission accomplished. Troll on my man. OUZTED BY DEMOCARTS!@@

I said he MAY be, but that's irrelevant.
Go look up the odds for the favorite to win the super bowl before the season in the NFL. Even the favorite got odds and that's only dealing with 32 teams as opposed to one man versus 50 to 100 options

Surprised Gaetz hasn't floated this already.
He DID say that the speaker does not need to be an elected representative during an interview yesterday however, so he has thought of it.

Lets review:
He didnt support nor pursue issues that most citizens want addressed like immigration or stopping the 100s of billions going through Ukraine. So, like in most aspects of life, you dont do your job, there are consequences.
Gaetz had the balls to call him on it and some of you folks think he is siding with dems?
The dems did not win anything, they just lost their biggest ally, and they did it themselves, that does not sound like winning anything.
Yes there will be a vote, probably several. But whoever takes the job now knows that his arse will be dragged right back out of the position if he does not support what the people want.
But it sounds like some of you would continue to just smile and get along while the country continues to slide into the abyss aided by so called republicans.

Odds of him winning?
Zero.
*The dems would have to help him again and I doubt they would do that unless they figure it would make the GOP look even worse. So they might...

It’s no different than trying to unite service workers and urban blacks with progressive university types with Uber social prog single issue voters (ie trans parents).

If McCarthy was their biggest ally why did all of them vote to remove him?
