Where's the owning? She said Trump used a word that was described by presidential hopeful and Vivek competitor Chris Christie as Neo Nazi rhetoric. She asked if he'd use that word and proceeded to let him talk. Having a hard time finding the ownage. He's competing against Christie. He's competing against Trump. The media is supposed to highlight differences in thought.

He’s very effectively positioned himself as the likely front runner for the 2028 nomination, which is in my opinion what his primary goal has been all along. But even he is probably a bit surprised by his leapfrogging Desantis for that role. He has been cognizant and deferential to the Trump style America First philosophy. Also while simultaneously communicating his own personal tweaks and variations of that clearly popular approach. He’s basically America First 2.0, while being regardful of the Trump and his America First overall philosophy itself.
He seemingly had a plan and has very efficiently executed it. Exceeding expectations even, in my view. I think he’s got a pretty bright future in this thing.

I kind of liked her. She didn't come off as the typical nasty black girl shutting him down, and let him run with it. She's maybe a bit quiet but eventually got her question answered on if he would call them vermin.
Now the concern over words is stupid and a different matter. It's like people getting upset over the use of "thug". People have different words they've used more than others throughout their lives depending on family, area, etc so harping on that is just stupid.
She may get told she has to be more "aggressive" which she could use some maybe, mostly on getting the interviewee to get to the point faster. And not look so flustered. She was like the black lady from "Police Academy," but unfortunately I'm thinking she is going to overcorrect negatively. Though let's be honest, this is the first time she has ever spoken to someone who comes from the Right and able to communicate. Not sure that'll be the norm for her to deal with on CNN.
