Right so guns drawn on you... are you reaching for your seatbelt?
Are you reaching for your door handle?
I'm not. No thanks - they can reach in and do it.

Remember, they stated he was trying to elude police.

When?! With his flashers and blinker on, pulling off 1 min and 40 secs later at a well-lit gas station. Yep, he was evading the police. Cmon.

I've known people who have caught shite from Cops after trying to wait for a parking lot or gas station. The Cops do not like it when you do this.

That said, I have no reason to believe this guy was intentionally eluding the Police. But I do have a problem with how he acted. Just get out of the damn car like they asked you 100 times. When they tried to grab him he said "get your hands off me" like he was somehow above the law. He was nothing but a drama queen looking to start some racial issue. He was basically a Karen who says "Do you know who I am?" That's what he reminded me of.

The police asked him for several minutes to "get out of the car"..... The driver refused!

You would think a "military man" would understand the meaning of authority!

100% the driver caused this whole fricking unnecessary mess!

The overwhelming majority of cops are great people that do great work in the community.
It goes much further than this. The false narrative that BLM (and similar guilt-driven groups) employ to push their cause is deplorable. There is NO STATISTICAL EVIDENCE to support their bullshite position.

Nope. This is now the way to win the lottery without having to pay for a ticket.

This just in... Army man filed $1 Million dollar lawsuit against the copy. Just like the couple in LA who were falsely arrested (passive aggressive). A million for me, a million for you.

I think we all have higher expectations for the judgement of commissioned officers.

This is exactly what happens. Cops are allowed to take every precaution to ensure their safety. They enter every situation in bad faith protecting themselves from the worst case scenario. And they should!..in fact, they're trained to.

Citizens are vilified by certain segments of the population for doing the same. And they should be! If you're not guilty, COMPLY!

Citizen fears are dismissed. That's what dash cams are for! They actually protect the cop more than the civilian.

Cops fears are deemed valid eventhough they are 100% of the time armed and have tactical gear, they also have back up, and the courts on their side.Do you actually THINK about what you post?

If an American citizen kills a cop they will be killed, receive the death penalty, or never see outside again. And barring any unusual situation, they should be.

Cops kill citizens and get paid vacations, are rarely charged, and even more rarely convicted.bullshite!

Citizens should be infinitely more afraid of Leos than vice-versa.What a stupid and ludicrous statement!

You're either an immature kid, or a simple-minded fool, and people can/will easily size you up by it.

Why would you need to get out of the vehicle?
I've been stopped a hand full of times and never was asked to exit the vehicle.

Was he needed to exit the vehicle because he drove to a well lit area?
If he was trying to elude police wouldn't he have been speeding and trying to actually elude the police?

Would he have pulled over and stopped under a well lit area had he wanted to elude police?

Sounds like these baws got their power trip feelings hurt because he drove to a better area before pulling over.

The officers are probably hyper aware of situations like this one so they are on their guard. They want to go home at the end of the day just like the rest of us.

After all, he is far more likely to kill them than they are to kill him. Statistically speaking.

When a policeman asks you to exit the vehicle, you comply!
It is that simple. Policeman risk their lives every day to make it SAFER for you and I, period. These policeman acted properly, IMO.

Now, if you are a "defund the police" supporter, this conversation is over....

I'm not a defund the police supporter at all.

But like I said - he had his window rolled down, hands in the air, guns are drawn, why does he need to get out the vehicle?

What law has he broken again?

He may not have broken the law, but when a policeman pulls you over, you comply! The policemen asked him repeatedly to get out of the car, and he refused!
IMO, that is blatant disobeying the authority....
I promise you, if he would have gotten out the car when asked, this whole mess never would have happened.
It makes me wonder if the driver WANTED this confrontation for recognition.

Gov. Ralph Northam said he was "angered" by the confrontation that included officers pepper-spraying Lt. Caron Nazario.

Don't care enough to link to liberal media which covered this.

Maybe Northam can cleanse himself of 'blackface' transgressions.

EDIT: At this rate, he an his lawyer - the esteemed Mr. Dindu nuffin' (Esquire) will be hitting the talk show circuit immediately. I can imagine a time where he will be a fill-in host for Don Lemon, when the lemon is on vacation with the Cuomo family.

Police are "20.8 times more likely to kill than be killed by a criminal."
