Alternatively they could form their own state, Central Virginia, and give the Republicans 2 more Senate seats.

Congress has to approve.

Republicans will be down 10. The hole is getting deeper. They probably should have not done Texas after all. They have really torpedoed their chances of keeping the House. They will end up losing 40 seats.

Pretty sure you can’t make states out of existing states.

I think Virginia needs a civil war...I'd love to see all of the NOVA people run out on a rail.

Greg Abbott and Texas started this whole new round of nonsensical redistricting.

This whole new round was started in Texas by Trump.

Nor was there compromise on the final passage of the ACA.

Yes there was. ACA was gutted from its original design. They just wanted to pass something. But it wasn’t the original bill.

And the changes are ultimately what made it not efficient, and was passed without really fixing anything.

This first half congress is painfully matching the Paul Ryan house.

I’ll grant you that it’s painful. But for different reasons. This Congress just doesn’t want to do any work.

The rinos don't actually want to lead

They prefer to be in the minority and wail and gnash their teeth.

Same as the fossil from my state Grassley.

It will be interesting to see if that actually works the way Dems think it will. Have to hand it to them though, those districts don't look terribly geographically Gerrymandered.

VA is a 52-46 state with a recent GOP Governor. The 46% could prove to be pissed off. No guarantees for Dems in this game.

Yeah right, it will pass and Republicans will be neutered for the next decade if not permanently in Virginia

Yes there was.
NO!
Sorry!
You are painfully uninformed.

Dems even excluded Snowe and Collins from the conversation. It was the most partisan legislation of the last 1/2 century at a minimum

No, their donors give more when they are worrieded. If Republicans were really accomplishing things, the donor dollars wouldn't be as voluminous

Republicans opened this can of worms and are now set to lose a massive amount of seats in the House due to the Dems redistricting

There are no blue states.

Just blue cities telling the rest of us how to live.

When will the right realize that the democrats are at war. There ore no rules in war and they approach it that way.

When the Dems held both houses and the presidency they kept the filibuster and suffered for it.

I’m actually all for this. There may be some pain up front- or not, but this is a soft civil war and I’m confident our odds are good if this is the fight.
