Seeing this remind me of the Married...With Children episode where Al has to carpool with Victoria Secret models but they ended up being large women.

Model: we're part of a new lingerie line for the full figured gal. Cause you know what they say...you're never to big to be sexy.
Al: you know who says that? Fat girls.

In the fashion outlet, Chen noted that the lingerie company’s attempt to stop the financial drain body-positive marketing was causing was to bring back its runway show format, and blend the sexiness the brand had become famous for with some of its more inclusive initiatives.

Victoria’s Secret and Pink brand president Greg Unis summed up this new direction for the company, reportedly telling investors, "Sexiness can be inclusive." He explained that "Sexiness can celebrate the diverse experiences of our customers and that’s what we’re focused on."

Don't really give a shite, but if you think they've learned their lesson, you're wrong. They are trying to walk the same tightrope Bud Light attempted. Just like Bud Light, if they aren't firing with malice the damn idiots who took the flyer in the first place, they still have some reaping to do.

Victoria's Secret's clothes are of fairly low quality, but their image as beautiful and sexy carried the market. The corporate leftist fools put turds in their own punch bowl.

It’s stunning that people still haven’t figured out that the activists who dominate online voices, DO NOT represent the majority.

It’s fun watching them fall for it and go woke, crashing their business, then crawfish back and try to regain their customer base.

Bud Light
Target
Victoria’ Secret…..

Whose next?

Exactly. Why companies have recently turned to wearing their politics on their sleeve is mind boggling to me. It’s most certainly bc of DEI policies being incorporated into business models but are executives of these companies going to watch their companies sink just to win the market of “public opinion”? Which I believe is the vocal minority anyway. Most ppl want nothing to do with this shite. It promotes unqualified employees and focuses on the wrong market factors. Sounds great for the future success of any business……

Sex sells. Period. The idea behind pushing bigger gals was "they will see that they can wear this as well and feel sexy". The problem is fat people aren't sexy to the vast majority of the public.

So when women see fat women in lingerie their core thought isn't really "OhEmGee, how brave, yassssqueeen!11" it's "I'm not buying that if that's what I will look like in it."

They buy it because they want to believe that when wearing it they will look like this:

In my younger days, I looked a whole lot different in sexy lingerie than I do now, part of getting older and having a few kids.

However, I never bought lingerie because I thought I would look like one of the Angels, I shopped at VS because everything was pretty there, from the store, to the models, to the lingerie. Women like pretty things.

I haven't been to a store since they started this whole woke shite! Hopefully, they get their act together and I can start shopping there again.

Yep. Pissing 75% of the population off in a pandering effort to win over less than 5% in the case of the pantheon that comprises the Alphabet Asylum doesn't seem like good business.

The theory was that what is attractive to most people is what advertisers and movie producers pimp out. And to some extent that is true. Runway models have caused countless women to strive for what is not naturally attractive to men. At no other time in history can we find 5’ 8” 110 pound women to be considered the ideal beauty.

But this is not completely elastic. You can never convince men that an anorexic 5’ 8” 80 pound woman is attractive. Nor can you convince us that a 5’ 8” 200 pound woman is attractive.

Jordan Peterson got in trouble, with the woke crowd, for saying "sorry, I don't find obese females pretty". Don't guess he's getting any apologies.

I walked by a VS about 2 weeks ago and it was hilarious. Half the mannequins were fat. It looked for all the world like a plus sized underwear shop.

I don't know what's going on in marketing departments at the nation's universities but someone needs to tell them all that there's a reason certain brands set themselves up as "elite". The whole point to VS was that in truth, a lot of women really shouldn't shop there. This just made those that could find VS all the more attractive.

Now? Well, all the women who thought of VS stuff as for "them" now see it as not much different than getting bras at Dillards.

VS used to get away with charging a premium for their goods. They pretended to be the Dom of bras and undies. Now they're just another Boone's Farm.

Sky screaming fourth wave feminists were never their customer base, and never were going to be. Twitter (or X, whatever) is not real life.

It truly is amazing how many people think that if you appease radical leftists that suddenly, they'll like you.

No. They'll still hate you and NOW, they'll consider you their bitch.

The people that hated VS 10 years ago still hate VS. It's just that now, they can view VS as another entity they defeated.

It's amazing to me that educated people at the top of these companies can't see their nose on their own damned face.
