What are some issues you have with the agreement? Can you list a few?

Wasn't posed to me, but I don't see a single positive in the agreement. So my answer would be all of it.

If the MOU is even close to accurate or even along the same lines of what's being negotiated, there was no reason to ever fight this war. We didn't accomplish anything, but we certainly left Iran in a stronger position than it was before as it relates to outside investment, sanction relief, and the Strait of Hormuz.

It’s shite in the sense none of the previously stated goals for Iran were accomplished. I think Trump realized he was lied to by Israel and their shills in our government.

I think long term it will be a win. Feels a little Trump v1 imo in that it’s an additional step towards peace in the region. He’s betting on the new regime preferring prosperity to never ending conflict. I hope he’s right.

No it doesn't. It means Iran's industries and businesses get subsidized by Gulf investments that only serve to prop up the regime that will eventually nationalize any entity or industry that has too much Western influence.

Imagine thinking we're going to be friends with these people going forward

Now the 300B is a good idea, after we heard the phrase "largest state sponsor of terror" for months.
So this means you also support the unfrozen money from the Obama admin?
Well why shouldnt we have just given them the money right off the bat and never went to war?

Why only 300B shouldn't we increase it to 500B?

Wow! I guess eventually it will stop once Tik Tok attention span gets diverted to the next OMB crisis. Until then, we have to read the first thought of a bunch of retards that can't think for more than 3.5 milliseconds.

That's some insane spin. Imagine Washington Post writing a headline saying "Here's Why Funding A Hostile Terrorist State May Actually Be a Good Thing"

If that's true, did Obama's Iran deal make a mistake by not giving Iran enough money?

Thos investments will bring money like iranians have not seen in a generation or more. It is possible the leaders will attempt to nationalize indutries/projects with foreign equity, but anyone can see the risk of such a move in a country that has already seen large government protests.
Given the situation, I think this is the most promising aspect/course to bring about real change in Iran.

When the actual document is available to see for ourselves, we don't really need anyone's spin.

Clearly you haven’t. It’s an agreement to try to come to an agreement. 90 percent is stil to be negotiated. Anyone claiming it great or a shite sandwich at this point is a complete moron.

I cannot wait to see how the spin on this entire ordeal ages. We have people who actually believe that the war was the right thing to do, that we succeeded in ...something?, and that this trash deal that amounts to status quo ante plus Iran getting money is going to bring about profound change in Iran.

Its like I'm taking crazy pills.

Where are you getting the idea that this is a transfer of money?

And I hope the invetments do reach $500b, that would mean Iran is fully inside the sphere of western influence and no longer a state sponsor of terrorism.
