Been to a few spots here in OK trying to break my 30 year streak of not catching any trout
I caught my first dry fly trout on the Lower Mountain Fork. Beautiful place.

Have you not fished Roaring River?? - it is a fishery - they raise trout and release them every day (at least that is what they did way back when)
They are not very big - unless you get one that has survived a number of weeks - that is what my wife snagged last time we were there back around 2000.
It was my families favorite weekend site back in the day. My son still talks about it - that is where he learned to use a fly rod.

I have not. I've got a vendor that goes there at least twice every month year round, though, and he's always catching fish and showing me the pictures.
It's on my to-do list before the end of the year.

We were down there in the area near the fly shop a few weekends ago but unfortunately we blanked. I had a decent brown on the line but it came unbuttoned right near the shore. That's the closest I've gotten.

The hag she is running against has a trans grandkid. Gomez called her out for raising a groomer. Gomez is hard core MAGA.

You’ve got to get to the White, Norfork, and Little Red in Arkansas. Beautiful places and great fishing.

Actually, doubt you did. You’re just intellectually dishonest.

Find a guide named Ralph Chatelain. He’s from south Louisiana. He guides on the White River and you are guaranteed to have a haul. He does a shore lunch and cooks everything up for you. Hell of a good time!

Good deal. Always looking for good guides. Does he guide for fly fishing?

“They didn’t build me, so they cannot destroy me”? That’s stupid. Did we build Osama Bin Laden? Because we sure destroyed him.

Chinese, Talking about your son learning to fish.
30 years ago I lived in Roanoke VA. The state had fisheries in the area. In the spring they would release some a couple of Saturdays into a small lake and kids 12 and under would come to fish.
I have no kids but I thought that was such a nice bonding experience seeing all the dads with their kids teaching them to fish.

The White, anywhere at all below Beaver, is definitely also on my list. Bit of a drive for me, but I'm less of a fly fisherman and more of a light spinning angler, and I know both methods can be extremely productive on the lower White.

I’m not sure. As far as I know he just takes you out in his boat. But you will load up.
