bad reaction to his MMR vaccine

While I don't trust the science anymore, I do happen to believe that the rates of autism in the vaccinated and unvaccinated are the same.

I also understand that autism is often noticed around the time many children get vaccinated.

But association does not equal causation. Meaning that just because one thing happened once and then something else happens, it doesn't mean the first caused the second.

Billions of children get vaccinated. Autism often gets noticed when children are getting vaccines. But well designed studies have failed to find an increased rate in one group or the other.

That doesn't mean there is no risk. Allergic reactions are always possible though rare and can lead to death. But are the risks of vaccine less than the benefits? They are less.

Anyways, just an opinion with some facts. And obviously this opinion is worth nothing.

And this opinion does not cover the covid vaccine which I would not have given my child.

Early 60's ALL children in school were given vaccines. In my case, the state health department rented a house across the street and we all marched in lines to get the polio vaccine.

Do people not understand the differences in established vaccines and the MNRA derived Covid shot?

DV from me because I am not a mouth breathing science denier. If a manuscript is published, the science has already been settled and is subsequently immune from further criticism or questioning. It really is as simple as that.

Haha!

My first response was that the hook was too shiny, but lots of posters took the bait.

Well played.

You are the dumbest poster on this site. And Otto posts on this site. That is impressive.

Even if you support vaccines, no reason not to be on a delayed schedule. The fact they’re pushing multiple shots in a single visit is insane.

Don't confuse the vaccines with generations of data with COVID.

Delayed is better than CDC schedule, but there is an even better option...

If the system recommends you give a 6-month old a Covid vaccine, how can you really trust anything else they say?

There is a book you may want to check out called Turtles All the Way Down: Vaccine Science and Myth.

I already know why we have an increase in autism, and it happened decades before the covid vaccines.

1. An increase in diagnoses. Many were simply going undiagnosed.
2. People no longer discipline children. This is the main reason.
3. Children spend too much free time watching TV and fooling around on the internet. This is actually a result of #2.

But go ahead with your crackpot narratives about “THE VACCINES”.

quote:

Now, did the MMR vaccine cause his Autism? No, I don't think so. I believe that may have been a predisposition of sorts. However, they are not always harmless. Any foreign substance can affect the human body once it enters. We did vaccinate his younger brother, but we stretched the protocol out much longer in between vaccines. No multiple shots in once visit. I say all that to say, parents have every right to question what doctors want to give their children. Vaccines are not risk free.

Now, this guy has a balanced approach.

you can poll the opinions of a bunch of yahoos on the Internet, or you can read the scientific literature. Your call.

Sorry! Lying has consequences!

Any field expert is capable of misusing knowledge and talking circles around a lay public audience. So the audience is left to trust the expert is not deliberately misleading them.

Once that trust is breached (repeatedly), the "fricking idiot" is actually the guy still believing everything the same "experts" continue to spout.

Nobody knows what causes autism but I’d place my bets on it being environmental as a lot of research points to pregnancy/mother’s environment more so than after they are born.

Or maybe it’s those damn iPads
