As government officials and mainstream media urges the vaccinated to inject a second so-called “bivalent” booster said to be targeting the Omicron variant, it turns out that this substance hasn’t been tested on humans. And the only animal trial that has been performed included eight mice.

“It hasn’t been proven in a clinical trial, because we don’t have time to do a clinical trial because we need to get the vaccine out now because we have such a situation throughout the world and certainly in the United States, we’re having 400 deaths per day and up to 5,000 hospitalizations a day,” NIAID Dr Anthony Fauci explained in an interview.

For those so inclined, the article contains a link to the actual joint Harvard/Hopkins study.

I noticed Rand Paul recommending the vaccine for the very elderly. I wonder.

Glad I just got the first round (hospital wouldn’t let me in to see my daughters birth if I didn’t). I refuse to get any boosters

I looked at the study and it's arguing that the jab is more net "harmful" than not taking it, not compared to covid.

They're factoring in missed days of school against limited risk of hospitalization.

They're 100% right, I'd never give a kid a shot like this.

Students at North American universities risk disenrollment due to third dose COVID-19 vaccine mandates. We present a risk-benefit assessment of boosters in this age group and provide five ethical arguments against mandates. We estimate that 22,000 - 30,000 previously uninfected adults aged 18-29 must be boosted with an mRNA vaccine to prevent one COVID-19 hospitalisation. Using CDC and sponsor-reported adverse event data, we find that booster mandates may cause a net expected harm: per COVID-19 hospitalisation prevented in previously uninfected young adults, we anticipate 18 to 98 serious adverse events, including 1.7 to 3.0 booster-associated myocarditis cases in males, and 1,373 to 3,234 cases of grade =3 reactogenicity which interferes with daily activities. Given the high prevalence of post-infection immunity, this risk-benefit profile is even less favourable.

Something I have wondered, since I'm sadly no longer a pure blood, is the threat of these things right after the jab or life long. I am sure no one knows for sure yet but I haven't seen anything pertaining to the lasting effects.

Should go away, just like when you get myocarditis from the flu.

That's why the anti-vax narrative has shifted to potential blood clot issues. Those have potential to be more long term.

Already had one of those, would not recommend.

This is where the pivot occurs, and blame is shifted towards Donald J. Trump.

Just watch.

Well the study doesn't argue what OP does, so you'll have to wait on that (although I do think it's going to happen down the road).

Myocarditis is a risk with any vaccine or infection. It typically is reduced over time.

Cardiologist Peter McCullough has stated otherwise:
quote:

“The [troponin] blood test for heart injury with the vaccine myocarditis, is 10 to 100 times higher than the troponin we see with a natural infection,” he continued. “It’s a totally different syndrome.”

All else equal, I would agree with this. But I'm assuming all bets are off when you start factoring in these boosters, correct?

I would imagine it just increases the timeline.

The risk is there for anything that evokes immune response.

And I would be willing to bet this COVID vax is one of the most utilized vaccines in history, leading to a very high number of myocarditis cases.
