I'm not a huge fan because he has a habit of shite posting and bailing, but the morons that just scream camp at him are terrible. I couldn't give a frick less that he's gay, and the camp thing is an unfunny joke.

Suburban House republicans should be VERY NERVOUS now.
Posted on 11/7/17 at 9:34 pm to Toddy
this is an across the board shitty night for the GOP
center right candidates are getting crushed even on the local level by some pretty far left dems in multiple states/areas
but I'm not sure there is much we can take away from it, other than Trump needs to shift strategies to keep this from carrying over to 18

Looking at the VA results tonight, there is A LOT MORE BLUE than just NOVA.

Tom Perez: This was a referendum on American Values tonight.

Utah House seat to fill for Chaffetz is a blood bath of epic proportions tonight.
60% for the R John Curtis with just 50% of the votes in so far.
Suburban House Dems should be very nervous right now!
Complete repudiation of Dems!
This is AMAZING

Psssh. That's a us house seat. Dems are concerned with state seats tonight.

Gillespie Is GOPe. Born loser.
Posted on 11/7/17 at 9:56 pm to Toddy
Look, as much as I'd say this is a bad night for the GOP you can't honestly be spouting off about this being a "referendum on American values" while pretending the last five years of national political races haven't happened
Posted on 11/7/17 at 9:56 pm to Magician2
That district was R +26 iirc.
I mean, it's a fun idea to compete for those seats but realistically it's not viable.

The media will spin this as a Bellweather for 2018, but it doesn't mean jack shite. Gillespie sucks and Va has become a solid blue state anyways.
Random statewide elections mean nothing on the national level

Virginia is Blue, Pett; Hillary won it by 5. They'll never vote Trump/Republican; though Trump can let them suck hind tit for the duration.
The Dems are running on Open Borders with Universal subsidization for all that come in. And gun control...with massive groups in our society practically being heathen. The Dems will go nowhere in the Hinterland from here on in.
Won't slow the wave.
