The GOP has no one to blame but themselves. The Senate in particular has destroyed the party's already terrible reputation in less than a calendar year.

NYT has updated predicted margin to 8.5% . HHTM said this would mean something.

It's not like Gillespie is part of the Trump revolution.
He was awfully Trump like in his campaign.

So Gillespie has more time to drive around VA in his F-250 looking for minority kids?

Congrats to Northam.
Gotta respect democracy.
Feel bad for conservative Virginians this state is lost for good.

Exactly, if the Dims could not win in VA and knock Christie off in Joysee, I would have officially pronounced the Dim Party as DOA.

Given the projected margin and the over turnout by Dems it's pretty exciting.

Southwest Virginia is going to be *pissed*. It's like a whole other state.
Posted on 11/7/17 at 7:41 pm to Toddy
NYT is estimating the remaining vote spread to be 14 points.

Why?

Spread is up to 6.1. We'll see if it makes it almost 9 as the NYT is predicting.

It doesn't. It's just fun to see Trump get repudiated.

Democrat Mark Herring has been the projected winner of the Virginia Attorney General's race. 52% to 48%.
Democrat Justin Fairfax has been the projected winner of the Virginia Lt Gov's race. 51% to 49%.

It doesn't. But Toddy and his ilk seem to think a Democrat succeeding a Democrat Governor in a state that was won by the Democratic candidate last year is some kind of indictment against Trump.

Kim Guadagno is currently leading Phil Murphy in the NJ Gov's race 48% to 50% with 10% in.
