I now realize why nothing gets done in DC. Listening to these morons jump from topic to topic with no real substance, no one knows what the hell is even being discussed.

No one calls out the blatant lies either, like 'the vaccinated cannot spread covid'. This is insanity.

Last term, there were more 9-0 decisions than 5-4 and 6-3 ones combined. Unanimous and 8-1/7-2 decisions make up two-thirds of the court's cases.

The legal issue for OSHA turns on whether the OSH Act intended OSHA to protect workers from workplace harm, or from this all encompassing general harm that the administration wants to accept. It is about OSHA's authority.

Whether the vaccine does or does not work, or whether anyone is choosing to get it is not relevant to that question.

First, whether or not the "vaccine" works should always be a consideration, ESPECIALLY when the "vaccine" has been DEFINITELY SHOWN to cause damage itself.

BUT, having said that, I was talking about OSHA's ability to force employers to force employees to do something that is DANGEROUS IN AND OF ITSELF in order to stay employed and provide for their families. No government agency should have that authority, but especially a politicized government agency that is actively hiding the risk of the "medicine" that it is forcing on employees.

STRAIGHT FROM THE OSHA WEBSITE.....

And they basically got their asses handed to them by the SCOTUS, by no fault of their own, but rather by the blatant lies being said by the judges themselves. Amazing.

I was referring to contentious, political cases, but you are right I shouldn't have phrased it that way.

There were a ton of slam dunks on the docket last year.

I F*CKING GUARANTEE YOU that if Trump had issued the mandate, these three complete f*cking SCUMBAGS would be all about protecting the civil rights of employees and would vote against any mandate.

Just because you say so? That is not what is before the Court. Courts do not just do things.

Policy determination that is not before the Court.

Not sure. But there would have been nothing wrong with anyone there---- saying those are not facts. I don't know if that is Roberts place when a justice pontificates political talking points from MSNBC & CNN-- to: correct?

This woman up now is all up in it for OSHA being powerful for this mandate

There is no legal basis for this argument.

None.

The only questions that should be presented to the court:

1. Is an individual sovereign over their body? (If no, Roe v. Wade should be nuked immediately)

2. Does OSHA have plenary legal authority to issue mandates such as this?

End of conversation. Full stop.

The plaintiff sucked. I'll be shocked if this gets overturned. F the supreme court. Trumps picks suck.

Plaintiffs could have done a better job. It was just our liberty they were arguing.

Nature of the beast considering how the justices are appointed. I don't really see that as an inherently negative thing and don't really understand how its used as an attack against the Court.

Of course the contentious cases that straddle ideological lines are going to be closer than the ones that don't.
