It would have helped if Trump took the stand in the trial. He literally presented no defense. None. That made an appeal much more difficult.

I've got no problem being wrong, but I'd never deliberately lie about something like that just to score cheap internet points.
IIRC, that juicy little detail was deemed inadmissible by the biased-arse judge and was prevented from being told to the jury because of its value as an obvious nuclear bomb to the face of her credibility.

She can't tell you the year that the offense occurred. If she can't name a day/date on when the assault was alleged to have happened, then how could Trump prove where he was as an alibi?
Her case was deliberately vague to prevent the defendant from proving where he was, because clearly Donald Trump's schedule would dictate where/when he was at almost all times.

It probably would not have mattered since the biased judge hand-selected the jury.
