Heard that on Clay and Buck. They think USSC will stay at least the OSHA mandate.

Good news is...it must not be that much of an emergency in the Justice's eyes.

Nor according to the wise Latina. She insists that every day we put off the mandate, another 100,000 workers will die

My company denied my Religious Exemption, and snarkily refused an appeal on the issue. That slimey HR POS was enjoying himself in our conversation too, and he tried to condescend my beliefs. I'm currently on unpaid leave waiting for the SCOTUS decision, which hopefully comes in my favor. Stand up for what you believe in people!!!

That is light speed by SCOTUS standards.

She's just parroting that announcement from earlier.

I've got a REALLY serious problem with this. Who TF is your HR department to determine the legitimacy of your religious beliefs?

She's just referring to the announcement that Thursday will be an opinion day (that an opinion, or multiple opinions) will be announced.

It is not a direct reference to the vaccine mandate/stay cases--those may not have a formal opinion. An order on those could still come at any time.

If they put this off until Thursday, they're allowing this to be enforced for 4 additional days.

If this is true, this is BS.

I don't think OSHA is enforcing anything just yet. Could be wrong, but I thought I read that they were not going to enforce it until later on in January or February.

Shouldn't matter though, the Court needs to go ahead and rule so that the lower courts can get started on the merits of both mandates.

It's more of the fact that most companies had to implement an enact plans today that included vaccinated/unvaccinated record keeping and a few other items. Once new policies are out there, it's not easy to just recall them.

Yeah the bar is pretty low as long as you are “sincere”. You should be talking to an employment lawyer.

Born and raised catholic. The fact that this false pope says to take the vaccine is enough for me to know not to.

Gotcha. Luckily my employer isn't covered by the mandates so I have not paid great attention to employer requirements.
