This is a unilateral attack on Syria, I love it. Blow Assads head off.

Does anyone know if the bombs have actually hit yet? How long does it take for them to get there??

What if Syria is willing to use those weapons against us or, our allies in the region eventually.

Read an article today that Israel is very worried. Their intelligence was caught off guard. Re-evaluating their posture. Turkey is pissed at Assad.

Initially i was against this but as ive learned more... this is good

I'm getting here, too. It was an isolated strike done in the middle of the night to minimize potential casualties.

At the moment, this seems more like a bitch slap than a beat down. We'll see what happens next though.

What is wrong with you? Crude futures are up tonight because of the military action taken in Syria.

I understand that, now where will it be in five days assuming no more happens?

seriously though... the gassing images are disturbing

I don't look at that crap anymore; but I know it's there and likely to get worse, if not challenged. The Frontline Doc of the first gassing...and the Mexican Cartel beheading/dismembering of those women...pretty much filled my knowledge void re just what we are up against. Bad enough on the Tube; God forbid it happens in my own circle. I'm down with whatever those in the know decide to do.

Melts,... just like his namesake character in:

quote:

Movie: Under Siege (1992)

Commander Krill: Where are you going?

William Strannix: Make Honolulu glow in the dark.

Commander Krill: Outstanding.
Tom Breaker: Look, Bill, if this is about reliving the 60's, you can forget about it, buddy. The movement is dead.

William Strannix: Yes, of course! Hence the name: movement. It moves a certain distance, then it stops, you see? A revolution gets its name by always coming back around in your face. You tried to kill me you son of a bitch... so welcome to the revolution.

Casey Ryback: What made you flip like this?

William Strannix: I got tired of coming up with last-minute desperate solutions to impossible problems created by other fricking people.

Casey Ryback: All of your ridiculous pitiful antics aren't gonna change a thing. You and me, we're puppets in the same sick game. We serve the same master, and he's a lunatic and he's ungrateful. But there's nothing we can do about it. You and me, we're the same.

William Strannix: Oh, no. No, no, no. There's a difference, my man. You have faith. I don't!

Since when did launching air strikes equal a war?

In a sense, you can argue this an attempt at avoiding widespread military conflict, by actually sending a message and trying to end this as soon as we can. Ending it before we have to actually go to war.

We talk about wanting to end the refugee crises, well guess what? That is going to require going at the beating heart of it. Ending the terror that rains down on these people everyday, means they don't have to flee and become refugees.

I get your point, I really do, but at some point we have to attempt at dealing with the main issue to solve the other issues that surround it.
